Building the Gringotts Bank set was nothing short of incredible. The attention to detail is phenomenal—every nook and cranny is packed with fun surprises and clever nods to the Harry Potter universe. I found myself constantly delighted by hidden features and intricate design choices that brought the magic to life. The building techniques used throughout the set are truly impressive. One of my favorite aspects was the ability to separate the bank from the underground track system. It's such a thoughtful touch that adds versatility to display options, especially for collectors who love to showcase their builds in dynamic ways.
Let's talk about the double GWP's (Gift With Purchase)! These bonus builds were the cherry on top—adding extra charm and character to my collection. They pair beautifully with my Hogwarts Castle display, enhancing the overall aesthetic and storytelling potential. In short, this set is a must-have for any Harry Potter or LEGO enthusiast. It's a magical build experience that delivers on every level: design, playability, and display value. Highly recommended!

Could not be Happier!!

Words simply cannot describe the ingenious ideas that are presented in this design. The Lego company never ceases to amaze me! I would like to thank everyone including the engineers, the people who make the Legos, and the people who ensure that all the pieces are included. This was a great build and I had so much fun doing it.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE

Really enjoyed building the Harry Potter Gringotts Bank. There are some really cool features including the underground caverns which contain various vaults and a spiralling cart track which can be stopped outside some of the vaults. There's a waterfall which contains a special power and there are loads of cool minifigures. There are also some cool facts regarding Gringotts within the instructions. A really great build.

A great building experience

I purchased this for my daughter to add to her collection and it was a great kit to assemble with lots of figures and interesting features for HP collectors

One for Harry Potter fans

This is the biggest set I've built so far. It was a doozy, but in a good way. The instructions were so easy to follow, everything fit together perfectly, and it was packaged in such a way that my husband and son were able to help me put it together. Not to mention that it looks great on display in my living room. I love that the top and bottom separate to help aid in moving the set and also playing without concern of something being knocked over. Overall it's a really great build. I'm very happy with it.

Wow Wow Wow.  Just loved this build.  been waiting for ever for it.  3 very different Builds in one.  Some builds can become very repetitive but not this one.  After completing I had to completely dismantle my Diagon Alley display, cut up all the shelves to house this addition.  It looks fantastic.

Gringotts

We've built Diagon Alley, Hogwarts Castle, Hogwarts Express, among others, and this was by far the most fun to build. All the hidden surprises while building and how complex and true to the movies this build was, really made this one our favorite HP lego to build so far.

Potter Fans Holy Grail

This set is such a fantastic build, the designers did a wonderful job packing so much detail in from the movies and previous HW Lego sets. It is a beast of a set when fully complete. My one and only complaint would be the amount of stickers used as I felt for the price point printed bricks were much more warranted. But all in all I wouldn't hesitate to buy and build this set.

A truly magical build

This set deserved 5*, the scale, complexity and design were excellent but experience was let down by quality control issues.
I had 5 bags with missing/incorrect pieces, because my daughter and I have 225k registered pieces I was able to cannibalise other sets/spares to keep going, it would have been annoying if I'd had to wait for 5 separate replacement orders.
I had bowed/twisted one and two stud long connecter plates and one long blank plate [in vault bags]; something I've never had with Lego previously [at least 10] - these had to be heated and pressed overnight to rectify.
Two issues raised by others, the main entrance sign should have been printed, I have trimmed the stickers as tight as possible but it's still an eyesore and the dragon needs a mechanical fix to the roof as it's unstable just posed.
I hope this review will be taken as constructive as I'm no HP fan but think the set itself is superb notwithstanding the gripes!!

FANTASTIC ......But

I have a concern regarding 76417 Harry Potter gringotts bank. There is to my belief an error in the building of the 2nd floor windows. I took apart and rebuilt 4 times the windows on page 289 book 3 to have it turn out the same way. It can't be done to completion. Then on page 5 again built and rebuilt and it can't be done as I see no where where the bottom piece under the windows is put in or supplied. Very disappointing. If I'm in error fine I can deal with that, but I truly believe this is not correct. Again another window in last book incorrect. These windows took the enjoyment of building this. I so enjoyed the bottom half. I couldn't wait to finally finish this piece. Such a great piece but brought me no desire to want to do another piece for awhile. Thankyou for your time and letting me vent. In a way it's kind of cured me of wanting to build more Lego sets for awhile, maybe read for awhile LOL.

Not overly impressed

Build quality wasn't really that well thought out when added to Diagon Alley. The set is too short and in my opinion should have been 5-8cm taller to match the scale of the other sets.
Seems to be a number of random bricks added within the general build. I get the feeling that bricks were added, just to get the total number of bricks to a high number.
I would have liked to have seen a way in which the Lego figures could move from the upper to the lower level through a staircase, rather than how it currently is.
The waterfall section seems like an afterthought along with the glass roof which should be a dome shape rather than a flat roof.
The interior could have been made longer to incorporate additional desks too.
