Construction

Build

This set was amazing. My mom got this set for me and I spent the morning working on it. I'd say it has a reasonable price for the amount of pieces, and I play with it so much. It has so many fun features were you can destroy hogwarts which is so cool. I do not know how they made harry and Voldemort stand and shoot spells though, as that just fall forward. I definitely recommend this set to any Harry Potter fan and I promise it won't disappoint! ;D

Final battle!

I couldn't be more thrilled! This set perfectly captures the iconic battle scene from the final movie, featuring all of the key characters and elements from the battle. The attention to detail is impressive with the set transforming into the iconic bridge. I absolutely love the mini-figures, especially the ones of Bellatrix, Neville and Mrs. Weasley. Building the set was a fun and immersive experience. The design kept me engaged the entire way through. The set provides endless possibilities for reimagining epic moments from the movie, whether it's recreating the battle or just displaying the beautiful architecture of Hogwarts. It's the perfect combination of nostalgia, fun, and challenge. Well done, LEGO!

Iconic!!!

Absolutely loved this set and everything about it my fiance and I had so much fun building this for him and our son but our son loves it way to much so he has put it on a shelf he built because he has all the pieces for it

love this set I have al of the other modular Hogwarts sets and this goes great with them, amazing pieces to represent the battle and how it can crumble apart to show damage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good additional component to use with the many other building kits to build the Hogwarts school compound.  Alternative construction plan works well to build walls overlooking the sea.

Abutments and Walkways

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice Lego set, solid 4 stars. Took my 8 year old child only about 2 hours to build, so would have been even better with a bit more challenging  pieces. Great details on the stickers, the younger child loves the snake.

Battle of Hogwarts

In many of the recent Harry Potter sets they have been lauding the ability to mix and match with other sets to create a whole castle. In that vein various floors are loosely attached to each other to promote the interchange. In this set, the turrets on the top floor are similarly loosely attached which while allowing for easy rebuild variations it does not keep it sturdily in the given formation. I am an adult builder and just moving the set around the table knocked the turrets off multiple times which was irritating. 

The design and creativity hold up to the rest of the series. My only negative comment is that given the smaller scale of the floors - and especially the turrets - the way the mix and match attachments were deployed does not keep them together as well as I have come to expect from other sets.

Good idea, doesn't stay together.

I have collected most of the Harry Potter sets. When I look for these sets I look for stable and how they can connect together. I had many issues with the pieces just breaking once they were together. My set was missing a few pieces and overall it was an okay build.

Fun but unstable

The build is fairly standard for the modular sets however whilst it is the grand finale of the film it does not fit in with the other modular builds thus far.

OK build

My first ever Lego build and Lego product that I'm really not happy with. When fully built in the original layout I found it to be extremely flimsy. Not sturdy at all and kept falling apart! Quite disappointed and upset. Rebuilt in the alternative for art and added a few extra Lego pieces to make it more sturdy! Would not recommend personally.
