Christmas present for a 10-year-old.  He loved it!

Great Lego Set

Ok, so I loved this little thing because of the minifigures. I had Harry and Draco already, but Hannah Abbot and Cho Chang are great! Obviously, Cho was part of the minifigure blind pack, but you dont know who youll get. I got two Newts and two Queenies, for example. Anyway, great minifigures.

I like the fact that you get all four houses. It would be nice if they didn't include Harry in this set since you get his face in every other set. It would be nice to get another character. Neville? Jenny? Seamus? Weasley twins? There are so many other options to get another character. However it is great to get some accessories and bodies!!

Perfect addition

I'm a huge Lego fan already, but I've been reading the Harry Potter books and wanted to get HP related sets. This one was perfect to have more minifigs to put around my Hogwarts rooms

An easy build with great figures for other sets

Bought a few and swapped out the heads to fill up the castle with students instead of the same 4 main ones repeated over and over. I hope they release minifig packs of the different quidditch teams. My daughter is bummed she can't put her minifig on the Hufflepuff team. Overall a good start for building up the Harry Potter Universe.

Good Filler

I really like the selection of Minifigures. It does a great job representing all of the houses. I love the Cho Chang Minifigure I wish we saw more of her in general. It was a quick build I bought it just because I am a collector. I do think it would be a great gift for any Harry Potter fan or a kid.

Why is LEGO using a chocolate color for Co Chang's skin tone? The Patil twins might be this dark. Maybe. Or Dean Thomas. 

Cho Chang was probably put in to the Potterverse to add diversity as an Asian child (name is vaguely Chinese). And generally the Chinese have much lighter skin tones than this. 

The earlier minifig isn't chocolate. And more true at least to the movies. 

LEGO needs another crayon in their skin tone palette.

Who ever decided to go with chocolate color for Cho at LEGO was definitely high on something. Shame on you LEGO! If Cho is chocolate color then what color is Dean and Kingsley? So ignorantly pathetic on LEGO's part.
