[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great winter themed Lego set I wanted to buy for a while. There was a great deal on it for Black Friday but unfortunately sold out before I could purchase it, but I still bought it at a later date since I really wanted to get it before it retires at the end of the year

While more stereotypically winter rather than Christmas, this building has great details and textures that help add a variety to a Winter Village display.  Good solid snow rood and lovely snow on balcony.  The patch of ice for the hockey player is rather pathetically tiny and needs extending but is nevertheless cute.  The outdoor toilet is a funny feature... my granddad had one just like it!

I really enjoyed building this and will definitely get more for the holidays

Great build

This was a fun build. It's the little details I like, such as the espresso machine in the kitchen, the ice skates that actually fit on the person, and of course, the light brick that lights up the large and small fireplaces. The specialized tiles for the ice rink were new to us. Overall, it's a great addition to our collection.

Once finished, the set looks good. Building it was annoying. Several of the pieces would fall off the set when trying to attach more. 
At 60 yrs old, I don't often worry about the playability of a set, but the doors won't open because of the “rug” behind it.
The outhouse is cute. The skating pond is innovative. Again, it looks good but it's difficult to assemble and I wouldn't let kids play with it because it's rather flimsy.

Sub-par construction

First time I've reviewed a set but felt the need to share that this is the worst experience I've had with Lego, possibly ever.

The overall look of the set / playability is ok but the build experience has been awful. It feels like it's been designed by an amateur.

Poor build techniques/brick choices throughout making it structurally weak. Also, a very careless mix of brown colours looking very lazy. Instructions the worst I've seen as well with colour matching to the brown bricks awful and too many complex steps (not broken down).

Not good enough Lego.
