Can be affordable, but also steep for certain features.

Features intentional approach to product layout and functionality.

A very iconic belle car that goes very well with the others in my collection. The details are present and several construction techniques are used to represent them. A very successful model that I recommend to all car fan.

A fabulous Corvette

LEGO

Great product and looks great on display Perfect size and great detail

Awesome

Another exceptional American Car model another great addition to the collection.

American dream

Husband loves it! He even spends time looking at the history and stories in the assembly instruction book.

Winner!

walmart.com

great price and a fun build

I purchased the model on VIP Day. It took me about 4 hours to build. I had no problems with the build. I like the fact the Instructions and stickers are contained in an envelope. Also I like the 1950s style curved windshield pieces, they too were nicely protected. Overall the model compliments my 1969 Camaro and 1967 Mustang GT. I also like Corvette Red and White. One thing would been nice was if the interior was red and white, but overall nice model.

Nice build

Solid build with nice curves and excellent fit of doors, hood, and trunk. Custom silver detail on some body parts is nice look. Would have liked silver toned trim parts verses light grey. Also a decal for the air filter cover. A really dense build that I managed to stretch over 3 days, the model displays best with the top off. Compound action on the hood and trunk make for good access and the hidden trunk opener is cool. Had to laugh at the banana bumpers! All in all another well designed, intricate build with plenty of detail and some interesting repurposed parts

The Corvette

First off, I LOVE classic cars. I've even got a couple myself with a couple more on the way! This set is absolutely amazing, my girlfriend got it for me for Christmas and I built it the very next day. It's large and very detailed which I can personally appreciate. This has to be one of my all-time favorite sets! The color and shape are really spot-on, especially for Lego.

If you know your car history, you'll know that the Ford Thunderbird (Tbird) came out the year after (in 1955) and went on to outsell the Corvette 6 to 1 and even 9 to 1 in certain cases. I mention this because the first-gen Tbird is a lot like this Corvette, it's a 2-seater coupe and everything. I have a 3rd-gen Tbird (a 1963) and I think it would be amazing if Lego continued making classic cars!

With how absolutely amazing this set is, I really want to see Lego put out a Tbird, and they can even do a few colors like white, black, blue and pink. In fact, my girlfriend's dream car is a pink ‘57 Tbird.. maybe I can return the gesture!

Over all this set is a 12/10 for me. I absolutely LOVE the engine details too. If you've got a classic car like I do, you'll spend a lot of time in the engine bay LOL!

Amazing set… Can we get a Thunderbird?

Jane

I love this set! It's a fantastic addition to my Lego collection of classic cars, including the Ford Mustang, Porsche 911, Volkswagen T2, DeLorean, and Ghostbusters ECTO-1. The build is incredibly sturdy and solid, and the attention to authentic details is impressive. The building process was enjoyable, probably on the easier side and not very challenging, at least for me. I did encounter one issue with a missing grey block, but luckily I found a spare in my Lego box. The only suggestion I have is that the pricing could be a bit more affordable. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it to all car enthusiasts.

Amazing classic car!

It's a good set it just needs the front wheels fixed up abit.

Improvments

It's the car of my dreams, but what about that replica? First of all, the general line is quite well respected, the designer could not do other than to ignore some curves on the scale of this vehicle. The flanks and the rear correctly recall the lines of the C1, but the front is certainly resembling from afar but nevertheless totally missed. It's square, the grille joints are ugly. And why did you choose the light bluish gray instead of the pieces normally chromed on the original? The elements of grille, bumper, seat of the windshield would have deserved this famous chrome which is sorely lacking. White-sided tires would have sublimated this model as well. The hard top is too much and it spoils the body lines. Finally, the stickers! !! It's a real shame that we have Corvette stickers for head covers and for the Chevrolet logo on the rag. In conclusion, I think that the model is not at all successful. We make a belle replica of C1 or we don't.
