product was bigger than i actually expected. The build was not difficult, reminds me of my 80s space legos. I have it sitting on top of my upright piano in my office. 

Cons feet are flimsy and broke off too easily, the nose is a bit unfinished but otherwise all is good  - and once i re-placed the foot of the piece it has not fallen off since.

To start, this set measures at 20.5 inches long by 12.5 inches wide. Its competitive retail price is 100$ with a piece count of 1,254. And though this set is recommended for ages 18 , it very much appeals to both kids and adults alike. The build is large, well detailed and very sturdy for easy play. My 6 year old cousin came over for a visit and this set was an instant hit when it came to play time. The built-in rover ramp also gives kids a ground vehicle to play with in addition to the very large spaceship. With the recommended age and complexity of the build, I would suggest that both the kids and the adults build this together. Comparative to this set for 100$ is the Lego Star Wars Inquisitor Transport Scythe, available at all retailers, with 924 pieces and measuring 14.5 inches long. If the original build for this model is too large, Lego does offer official alternative building instructions on their website (not included in box) for secondary and tertiary smaller builds. Unfortunately, you can only build one model per set purchased and as fair warning, most of if not all included bags will be required to obtain the necessary parts for the alternative builds, while leaving behind a lot of extra parts. Both alternative builds for this set, of course, do also offer the same stability for kids as well. I have included a photo of the main model next to the aforementioned Inquisitor Transport Scythe, along with a photo of the secondary build that scales more favorably. In the scheme of not only Lego value but also toy value, especially in this economy, even at its competitive retail price, is a phenomenal offer for the experience, variety and play. If you have a Lego fan of any age, this certainly is the Lego must-have set of 2022.

A Lego value that's Out of this World!

An excellent Lego kit.  If you enjoy classic space than this is a must buy.  If you enjoy good fun Lego builds then this is also a must buy.  All in all just an excellent build. A must add to any collection.

Great build that keeps the concept of the original but modernized it.  There are also a lot of great alternate builds online that gives this kit a lot of versatility.

Normally Walmart displays and ships dented Lego boxes. This does not do well for an avid lego collector. Good job to whoever found this box on the shelf or warehouse and shipped it to me. Keep up the good work!

Perfectly shipped box!?

Excellent set, and a great product. It's definitely worth the price of admission, so entertaining building the thing and it has such a wonderous presence in any place it is present in

A Gem of a Set

This is how my Galaxy Explorer's Arrived on 2 separate days.  One looks like it got ran over by a car and the other 2 look like they've been used in the egg drop experiment.  ATTENTION WALMART AND THE 3RD PARTY DRIVERS --> STOP USING BAGS WHEN A PROTECTIVE BOX IS NEEDED!  Would you want your gift to arrive like this???  I don't know who's responsible for this practice but it needs to stop NOW! 

In both cases (caught on Ring) the driver hops out of their car and chunks the bag 10 feet onto my porch.  As if another 4 steps and setting it next to the door was an Olympic sized hurdle ...and just in case you're wondering... we DO NOT have a moat filled with alligators surrounding our house.  

 I can't imagine Walmart is very happy with the returns  and how much money, time and effort is wasted by not placing items in boxes and having competent drivers.

THIS PRACTICE HAS TO STOP!!!!

The delivery box itself looked fine but when I opened it the Lego box was messed up. I paid almost $80 for an item that looks damaged. I don't know who thought it was fine to ship it to me like that but they were very wrong.

Bad shopping picker

If you are buying this as a gift, don't buy it from Walmart.com. It was so poorly handled, it looks like someone at the warehouse stepped on it then put in the the box to ship. Now, I have to go a physical store to buy this, in time for a 6 years old birthday party.

Terrible handling

The set itself is fine, and it didn't seem to suffer damage during shipping. 

However, the set box shows clear signs of previous damage, meaning someone at Walmart made the conscious decision to ship a set with obvious damage. This set was intended to be a Christmas present, but with the damage to the box, I am not sure if I want to give it as one.
