Straightforward build process with minimal complexity.

Can be clear, but also confusing for some users.

This build looks great when completed. I am an amateur at lego and I didn't find this difficult to build. Instructions are very straightforward. It took me about 9 hours to build both apartment, excluding the hall which I chose to not include. I preferred to the have the apartments separate without the hallway. I also decided to not use the cameras, I used spare, smooth tiles to cover the edges where the cameras go. I also took the arch out of Monica's kitchen, it detaches easily and makes the kitchen look more open. The only drawback was the sofa in Monica's apartment, it has two push up cushions so only one character can sit on the three seated sofa. I would've paid extra for this set if it included the bedrooms. However it is a beautiful set even without the bedrooms.
Now, I would like to see a lego Frasier apartment.

Lovely Friends set

I purchased this set for my 9 year old daughter. She's a fast builder and I thought I'd gift her something a little more challenging. She had this set built in a few hours working off and on through the day and it was completely set up before bedtime. She loves it!

Great set for little builders

It's simply awesome, just so nostalgic. For any fan you'll absolutely love it. Yes, you could be over the top picky and point out that Monica's door in the landing is the wrong colour but I'm not that picky. Just enjoy the set for what it is. It's super detailed and has lots of parts ( I like lots of parts rather than big pieces that fit together quickly) that will give you hours of enjoyment. You can move the characters around to make whatever scene you like and the characters themselves are designed in a key outfit from a memorable episode. Brilliant. Thanks Lego. Can us F.R.I.E.N.D.S fans have more sets please?! Like Ross's apartment in the later seasons perhaps!?

Life needs F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Central Perk was a thrill and this was just as fun.  Money well spent in my opinion.  OK Lego, it's been a few years.  It's time for a revamped version of the Big Bang Theory on the same level as the "Friends Apartments".  Instead of "Chandler/Joey apt, hallway, Monica/Rachael apt" you can do "Penny's apt, hall with broken elevator, Sheldon/Leonard apt".  That build could be around the same piece count and price point.

Nostalgic and fun

I freaking love this set. I've ordered it sa soon as it was open for VIP members. The only few things I wish were "available" are: - some bricks to close the gaps in Monica's kitchen. I'm thinking of buying a few bricks patterned blocks and manage to close the gaps. - a way to keep the three sets attached (chandler/joey + hallway + monica / rachel) as please. I lack space to put them all next to each other along with the central perk, so I'm thinking of putting them on top of another, but that means that the hallway will have to be put aside. That's it for me, except these few points, as I've said, I've loved doing it !

Awewsome ! But...

Love both the Central Perk set and this Apartments set! Directions were easy to follow. Love that Joey is wearing all of Chandlers clothes. Thanks Lego!

Big Friends Fan!

This set is a perfect reflection of the Friends' apartments! Lifelong fan of both Lego and this TV show, so I held the bar high.. Lego didn't disappoint. I'm upset the mug was not released with this set however. This is over twice the price of the Central Perk set, I don't understand.

Well done

Unfortunately some important pieces were missed. The quality of Lego sets became a worst last few years.

Lego sets quality is disappointing

Loved Central Perk and was really looking forward to the apartment set.
But I am disappointed with both the build and the flaws. The beam across the kitchen breaks at the slightest touch, nobody can sit on the sofa because of the cushions and the lack of leg space. The apartments don't stay together and the base is flimsy and comes apart when moved.
Did consider some fixes but I feel disappointment when I look at it. I'm afraid that this set will be reboxed and passed on. 
Lego has so many fantastic sets to build, but this isn't one of them.

Frustrating Set

I am currently working on bag 10 of 15 and am on my third missing piece. It's frustrating building and then having to stop and wait weeks for a replacement. However I have completed Joey and Chandler's apartment now and I am very happy with it.

Missing pieces galore

I was so excited, I made more than half of the set then there were so many pieces missing I couldn't continue. I requested the missing pieces and waited 2 weeks for them to come and then I found I was missing more pieces a couple steps later. For the price I am very disappointed that there are so many pieces that are missing!
