Beautiful build Medieval Blacksmith building. The exterior and interior are full of color and precise details that accent the roof and floor while detailing each room and figure. The interior is full of great detail and beauty. Building this great architecture was lots of fun and enjoyment. Great lego piece to add to any collection or like me, my Medievel castle collection.

It was inside a box which was pleasing, some orders come with labels on original boxes and for a collector that is not great.  So I was happy order was perfect!

Perfect order

One of the best Lego sets available. I grew up in the 80's and 90's playing with the Medieval Lego sets. This brings me back to my childhood. Expensive, but well worth it. My wife and I built it together.

Brings me back to the good days of Lego!

Very detailed. Exactly as pictured. Hours of fun for our whole family to put together over the Christmas holiday. I hope they make a series of this theme.

Medieval blacksmith shop

Seriously though I have been waiting for some castle sets for awhile. When Pirates of Barracuda Bay dropped last spring it was like a throwback to my 90's childhood. I remember seeing the ORIGINAL Blacksmith shop in a Lego catalog in like 2000 and unfortunately never had the chance to buy it. This time is different. These throwback sets to the days when I was a kid are truly special and hold a real place in my heart as a builder and Lego fan.

I had good times with this set while I assembled it and set poses of minifigs as a display set. There are more than enough pieces for anyone to create an entirely new object if you let them. Good product! More products with a good replay value like this should be produced.

Throwback and Versatile set

This set goes well with my Hogsmead village and I am planning to add snow to make it Christmasy.  Unfortunately this is my first Lego set where I have had quite a few missing parts.  Bag 13 was the worst with several missions parts and many of the roof tiles being the wrong color.

Interesting set

The set looks good, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. I am a seasoned veteran at this, but had to undo and re-do a handful of steps due to shoddy instructions. I rate the set highly because I like how it looks and feels, I like the details and textures, but the instructions are pretty darn poor.

Was super anxious to build this set after a stressful day at work. Bag 2, a the table leg was missing and in it's place was a 2x2 brown tile. I thought it odd, so I check through the entire booklet and 2x2 brown tiles weren't used till bag 9. I left a pic of all spare parts, there's a random 2x2 tile where the 2x1 bench leg should be.
Bag 7, a black stud piece for the chair was missing which isn't a big deal as they're extras in the set, but it can be an issue, especially if a MOC uses all extra pieces.
Bag 8, got to step 138, took the staircase out the bag and the 2x1 landing connection at the top of the staircase was broken and each step run is strained. You can see the plastic stress deformation on each step connection. This is the 11th set I've built this year and first set with missing pieces and broken ones ever (ironically in one set). Luckily nothing else was missing/broken. But this took away from the building experience as I was really upset a piece was missing early on in the build and I was holding my breath till the end praying nothing else was missing or broken. Put in orders for replacement parts and just waiting now.
