<ul><li><div>LEGO 40487 is a lovely little sailboat, and definitely one of the best that LEGO has produced at this scale. The color scheme in particular is just beautiful, as the dark tan hull, dark orange deck, and gold highlights give it a classic, elegant look.</div></li><li><div>The ship feels appropriately large for the two adventurers aboard it, with room for each of them to stand on the deck.</div></li><li><div>The stern of the ship features a small till for steering the boat, though sadly there's no rudder beneath it to complete the look.</div></li><li><div>The small cabin can be removed to access the interior, which contains a single 2&times;4 tile that I presume is a bed, though it's a little too small to actually fit a minifigure. That's a compromise I'm OK with making at this scale, however.</div></li><li><div>The sails can rotate freely until they're stopped by the ropes stern and aft. They use all standard bricks (no panels) so the sails are the same from both sides.</div></li><li><div>teen, adult, age 12 and up</div></li></ul>

Fun Lego Kit

Love the kit but it is missing at least 6 pieces that are necessary for completion.  I don't have the pieces to complete the build and am currently waiting for Lego to send them.
