As the review title indicates, this build was a blast! Had to really pay attention when installing the gears as the first time it didn't work, but quickly discovered it was user error haha Love how it sounds like a real typewriter after completing. Highly recommend!

So much fun!

LEGO

My grandson has been doing Lego since he's been like five he has already done a roller coaster. He has done trucks with the hydraulic lift and he absolutely loves Legos and this is who the gift is for. My grandson would appreciate it if you could let me list him as 10 years old, but I had to lie on the form and say that he was 16 thanks for not keeping this real

Legos are excellent

Wow, this was most difficult for me. It took me three times to get all the arms for each letter in its proper place. This is necessary in order to type each letter. So life like that my granddaughter thought it was real and wanted to type a letter! 
This is a keeper for future generations and investment.

Soon to be an antique

Wanted this LEGO set for some time. Finally found it for a price I was comfortable purchasing it.

This is my 5th Lego build and my first time doing anything with gears or mechanics. I absolutely loved it! It wasn't simple or ordinary. If you're looking for a unique Lego build, this one is an absolute blast!!

Challenge accepted

This set is incredibly unforgiving. I followed the instructions to a T but for whatever reason, the rod that the buttons are suppose to hit is uneven so none of the buttons are able to function as they should. As I was building the back of the typewriter and was moving but with only the letter A. Now it doesn't work at all. Really frustrating considering the price and how tedious it was to build it. Really wish it worked but just can't figure out what's going on with it.

For some reason had many issues trying to put this set together- had to go back and redo a couple bags. The keys do not type easily.  For this price- I should have spent the money on another tuxedo cat!

My set was missing all the letters except the top row. To say this was annoying is an understatement. I had to wait a week for everything to come in and finish it. For the price I expect more.
