Possibly the best series of minifigures ever! Everyone is a gem. Yes I wish the cat had been orange or turquoise as everything else except Spider boy is so colourful. But it was a real joy to collect these. A brilliant way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the minifigure and to put a smile on yours and others faces. Very happy days! And then built a cake to display them on.

What a series good selection of minifigures birthday cake guy is my favourite so much detail I'm looking for the replica police officer original minifigures but hard to find. Race car guy is racing around. Clown in this series is an amazing celebration of the series 1 clown and cake guy is just having a fantastic time and clown is going to make everyone happy with his balloon animals highly recommend this series lego fans.

What a beautiful and excellent series! I saw these in WH Smith and purchased an entire case! (There was another 5 boxes in the store stockroom so don't worry there was plenty left for everybody else) The highlight of the set is The Classic policeman but it's just a shame there is only 1 per box.. his accessories include a yellow 1x2 plate and a 1x2 tile with set 600 printed on and it looks superb! There are so so many cool and colourful characters in this collection and the new elements look fantastic, my favourites are: Brick suit guy, Brick suit girl, race car suit guy, balloon artist clown, birthday cake guy,... In fact they are all AWESOME! Get some now whilst you can

(***Oh and spoiler alert!!*** When a fresh box has been opened, The classic policeman figure is always the packet at the top left of the box!) Happy Hunting

I'm very satisfied with the series 18 minifigures. The minifig lineup is a strong one, and comes with many useful parts -loving the new ballon mould by the way!My favourite minifigure is probably the clown, despite there being another in one of the previous series. It is a colourful figure, and the first time I've ever seen the balloon animal pieces! But seeing as it is dedicated to celebrating the 40th anniversary of the minifig, perhaps it instead could've featured classic figures from older sets, such as johnny thunder from the adventures line, or the classic spaceman. Don't get me wrong- I am satisfied with the figs, but it seems like an opportunity missed to give some classic minifigures a well-deserved remake.

BEST MINIFIGURE SERIES SO FAR!!!!!

This is the best LEGO minifigure series to me because of the great selection of minifigures to find. Not only are there a bunch of awesome LEGO minifigures with new and rare molds, but this series also includes the most loved LEGO minifigure ever: the 1978 Police Man! Unfortunately, I did not get him, but I did manage to get both the brick figs, the birthday cake guy, the clown, the cowboy, and the firework. Overall, I find this series to be quite great, and I definitely recommend it to a friend. Review by cheesy. 6/19/2018

One of the best minifigure series!

The Minifigs are really great and beautifully done. The only week one in my opinion is the unicorn guy. 
 However as many have said, having only one police man per box is a total scam. I am quite happy to forgo getting him. I refuse to deal with after market prices on Lego.
I will be quite satisfied with having 16 out 17.

Fun series. No police at my party....

I am a long time buyer of Legos for myself and my Grandchildren. This is the first time I have noticed a change in a product and wanted to make note of it. The minifigures seem to have a down graded plastic feel to them compared to previous series. Not as good quality. Also, upon opening the bags there is a strange mild odor that I have never noticed before in previous series. That said, these are very creative and the Grandchildren like them.

Seem Different

I really like this party series and all the figures I was able to find and get are all great
1.the Elephant girl is cute and I like how she comes with a mouse and is scared of it and has a normal face as well.
2. and 3. are the Red Brick Guy and the Blue Brick Girl both of these I like and had to get them both plus they make a cute couple.
4. the Firework guy I like and will be a popular figure to get for the 4th of July in 2 months.
5.the Dragon Suit guy is one of my favorites.
6.the Spiderguy is a cool figure and I think will fit in well for anyone who will do a Halloween theme.
7.the Cactus girl I like plus I like her facial expression when she is wearing the suit like it is pricking her.
8. the Catgirl is a cute minifigure and I like her light blue fish she has
9.is the RaceCar Suit Guy I really like this figure alot and I love his race car suit.
10. the Flowerpot girl is a cute figure.
11.the Cowboy is a great figure plus I like his horse for his costume.
12.the Birthday Boy is a good figure plus I like the new balloon piece and inside his Birthday present are two series 1 figures that he gets which is very cool and awesome.
13. the Blue Unicorn Knight I like and he goes well with the Unicorn Girl from Series 13.Sadly the only figure I wasn't able to find was the Classic Policeman I know he is a rare figure to get and is only limited to 1 box he is one I wish I was able to find but still overall happy with the figures I was able to find and really a great series celebrating 40 years of the Lego Minifigure.

Could Not Find the PoliceMan

This is awesome. I just got the two brick people and the party kids, which are AWESOME. 

Party Boy
The party boy has minifigure collectibles from Series 1, which I thought was a good easter egg. The balloon is cool, and such an upgrade from the previous ones. The hairpiece is pretty much mine, which I LOVE. The box is enourmous, at least for minifigures, and would be a bit big if you wanted to package minifigs. Also the head isn't that useful.

Party Girl
The party girl is almost as good. It comes with a balloon, but in a different color, and a party box. The accessories arent' as good, as they are both non-exclusive, but they're at least something lots of people like. The hairpiece is pretty much my sister's.

Brick Guy
The brick guy is awesome. His hairpiece and head are quiet cool, and the brick suit is even better. The accessory is a bit boring, but they did what they could. My brother got it, along with the brick girl, which encouraged me to get them.

Brick Girl
The brick girl is just as good. Same goes for the brick guy. Also, my brother's friend got it, along with the flowerpot girl.

Flowerpot girl
I know I may seem like I love every minifig in this series, but I don't. This is the best series ever, but the flowerpot girl is one of the worst. The torso could work for a t-shirt, but is kinda weird. The legs are non-printed, which is lame, and the flowerpot is ugly. The face is okay, bc there is too much lipstick for my liking. The headpiece is unique, but not useful.

Spider guy
My sister got the spider guy, and he is her least favorite. I have to agree. His face is cringey (literally) and the hairpiece is ugly. The spider back-thing is too big, and the legs don't have any printing. The best part is the torso, which is like a jacket but with a spider web on the front. It even has a pulled-down hood on the back. Overall, worst minifig in the series.

Clown
My other sister got the clown, and it is all right. There are lots of clowns in the minifig series, but the balloon animals are AWESOME. Finally, Lego Balloon Animals! His cape is long, but that is a good thing. His bowtie is cool. The torso and legs are detailed but not very useful. Not the best minifig, but defenitely not the worst.

These are AMAZING.

Lego recently sent me 4 bags only for my son to open them and all 4 were the same and not only the same but we have 3 already. I understand they are random but would be interested to now how many of the Balloon Minifigure with purple balloon are produced compared to others. I accept you are going to get some the same although we have bought around 19 bags & have 7 of the same and can't believe all 4 from lego especially were the same. Is anyone else aquired huge amounts of this figure ? Would be interesting to now.
I completely expect to get some the same but out of 19 bags my son only has 4 different characters which I think you'll agree is shocking, Rocket Guy, Cactus Guy, Balloon Kid, Lego Suit.
After such an excellent set in Batman 1&2 series very disappointed

My son was very disappointed

To start with, this is a great theme, a lot of clever and varied costumes. I've personally had fun taking photos of the police officer accosting the other minifigs for various misdemeanors (not the point of the theme but, hey, they were funny).

So why the low score? Well, up to this point (excluding series 10 which suffered the same issue) a person was guaranteed to find three complete sets of minifigures to a box, with some extra depending on the number of different minifigs in the series. Unfortunately, in this series, there is a limit of one police officer to every box. While not the most interesting of figures, it still makes obtaining him a chore at best, expensive at worst as people take advantage of the artificial scarcity and people's obsessions for completing their collections by charging ten times the retail value (at least). 

While series 18 is a celebration of 40 years of minifigures, the guest of honour won't be appearing at most of the parties. Who would have thought it, the one time you want a police officer to turn up to your party...
