I feel like a lot of the reviews for this product portray it in a negative manner. I'd like to share a positive one. This is a blind bag. Like the trading cards many of us got as kids. There's a bit of thrill and exhilaration behind it, and while I may have not always been happy about the end result of the trading cards as a kid, I always came back to see if I could get it. These blind bags give me a little bit of my childhood back. I found some in a local retail store today, grabbed a handful, and opened them. Enjoyed each parts of those moments. My daughter enjoys it. It's not about getting a complete set... that can be done. It's about experiencing that moment of "what if". Enjoy what you get, and let it help you enjoy life.

I really enjoyed collecting this series of minifigures, there are many unique characters, some in fun costumes, and others that look like they are taken right from a unique occupation, or setting. My favorites are the Orc, the Astronaut and his little baby, and the Rococo Aristocrat.

Awesome minifigures with great details!

Great to see a set that is not a licensed set.  Long many the yellow heads remain.  Such a wide selection,  I bought 35 packets giving me two complete sets and a few spares.  The spares are used to fill the streets in my lego town and I now have a newspaper boy on each street corner.  The kids roller-skating down the street now have pink roller skates adding to the trendy kids street cred. The baby blue spaceman has taken pride of place on my shrine to Benny.  The pottery woman has been placed in a building visible from the window.  The Marion Antoinette figure is singing in the music room above the diner.  The five carrots are busy chasing a rabbit through a garden.  I love this set a few more figures to take it to 16 in ore=der to nicely fill a large lego display case would help going forward.  But what a great set

Great selection of Lego Minifiguers

I was so looking forward to this set because of mainly the Falconer and the Rococo Aristocrat. The Falconer is awesome and I am very happy with it, so much so I bought multiple as it fits in my Castle wonderfully. The Rococo Aristocrat design is beautiful but is ruined by terrible quality control. I thought it was just mine and I'd got unlucky, but upon viewing Youtube videos I see it is a design flaw. The reason being, 1 person showed 3 of these minifigures and each had the same defect as mine, which is black smudge marks all over the white face on both sides! It is such a shame as the minifigure is lovely, but the face defects ruin it. I have requested a replacement head, but after viewing the videos and seeing the common defect, I really hope the replacement doesn't have the flaw!!! This is the reason I cannot recommend this product, the quality control.

Quality Control

I bought the maximum limit I was able to get on the online shop (12). This is a problem as I won't get it all 12 figures.

I received too many duplicates. 
3 T rex mascots
2 Carrot mascots 
2 Paper boys
2 Orcs
The other 3 were singles.

The figures look great as always. Just need to increase the limit you can buy to make this a lesser problem for customers.

Other reviews point to the duplicates, but I am no longer finding minifigures in stores in our area that carry Lego, so I took a chance and bought the max of 16. I got 7 unique out of this series; 4 triples, 1 double and 2 singles. When purchasing 16 if truly random, the probability of getting none of any one minifig is 25%, the probability of getting 1 is 36%, the probability of getting doubles is 25%, the probability of getting triples is 10%, the probability of getting 4 is 3% and the probability of getting 5 is <1%. The likelihood of getting 4 triples with an order of 16 is extremely small - Lego, you can and need to do better; revise your process for filling these minifig orders so that it truly is random.

Defying probabilities

I bought 7 of them, I got two pottery makers, two rocking horses, and three empresses. On top of the two rocking horses and one empress that I already had. How does that happen. I literally just wanted the falcon knight and brown Benny. What do I do with all these duplicates?

What are these dupes

You may have seen reports of the boxes of these minifigs not being randomized and people have been getting the same duplicates in each box. I was hoping that ordering three individual blind packs would solve that issue. Nope... I got three carrot costume guys.

8 bags and I get 4 carrot guys, two soccer refs and two koala guys. Picture wont upload. I understand maybe one duplicate on occasion but this is a little ridiculous. Not the first time its happened to me either. Last time I buy these online. Big waste of money. Sometimes I cant help but think this is done on purpose to keep you buying more.

Out of six mini figures purchased, we received 2 originals. That is a 66% chance of getting the same figures if more than one is purchased. Either that or they made way too many Paper Boys.
