outsanding set. best dragon ever made by lego. looks like a regular dragon from box........ not at all the case! i'm so happy with how this turned out. slick smooth life-like movements. myriad of high quality minfigures, combined with the exclusive pieces and prints, such as the golden bananas and book screen piece, finish this glorious set.

This is probably one of the largest dragons I ever built, I have a lot of ninjago dragons (11 to be exact). This was a completely different dragon, it having no wings and being a mech, it was also larger than I expected it to be. It was almost 2 feet long. It's nice to have a new Garmadon mini figure.

This set was a lot of fun to build. I love the colors and really like that you can pose this dragon a lot of different ways. The tail on this thing is great. I did not realize that it just moves on it's own. Just moving the build and the tail will wag back and forth. What a great feature.

Great build

Minifigs, Charlie, I don't really know his character or what he does during the movie so I can't really pas judgment yet. Wu, a wonderful variant, his robe extension cloth is beautifully printed and he has a bamboo colored hat like from the early days of Ninjago. Garmadon, his head legs and both torsos look very much alike to his 2012 version but his long cape and new helmet bring him up a notch. Lloyd, probably one of my favorite figs ever, his robe remindes me of the elemental robes, his hood is 2 pieces so it can rap around his head. The dragon, (from tail to head) the tail whiping function is very strong holds together. The back and tail spikes are even more intimidating in person, and if your looking from the front then you can't see the thrusters at all. Lloyd ride on the neck with levers and a detailed control panel and a computer the dragons head has all sorts of gold detail and new head molds.

"Dad"....

It was a fun build, but it was kind-of a fast one.
I wish it was a little bit longer.

Pros:
- It is super fun to build. 
- Its tail function is super cool!
- I think the rocket jets on its back looks awesome and they give it a more mech-dragony feel.
-Lots of cool looking stickers and pieces.

Cons:
-There could be more flexibility in the head.
-There could also be more detail in the shark-man.

All in all it was a great build and it is super playable.
I totally recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best dragon yet!!

This is the first ninjago set I have ever bought and I really can't put into words just how fantastic this model is! The build of the model is fun even with all the tiny pieces. Durable too! My wife loved it when I brought it home and she carried it around the house like it was a new puppy and only one fin came off after 15 min of hugging and posing for pictures. The minifigures are great too. The double torso guy and the sensi being the best. Only thing I would have improved on is the articulation of the head to the neck joint. The articulation of the rest of the Drago is spot on. Buy this even if you don't collect ninjago.

WOW... just wow.
this set is sooo good.
the dragon is quite big and very poseable, the minifigs are great, but wu's kimono is hard to 'put on'.
the ultimate ultimate weapon is hard to get garmadon to hold but that's a minor problem and does not affect my rating. overall great set so i definitely recommend it!

AMMAAAAAAAAAZZING..................

This set is amazing I saw it on display at the store and I knew I had to have it. Minor complaints were the amount of stickers but when everything is said and done the beast is as big as my cat. The mini figures look great I really like the redesign of the green ninja (this was my 1st and so far only ninjago set). Garmadon looks amazingly evil to the core and just menacing. Master Wu looks great as a wise old sage type. All in all you get what you pay for with this set highly recommended you will not be disappointed

A Big Green Dragon

Okay so this a review on Lloyd's mech dragon and this is my first time reviewing a set so I mite of made it one star or something and just to say it I love this set and everything about it. Firstly, the guys you get are awesome, you get Garmadon, Wu, Lloyd and a shark army dude. Second, you get the ultimate weapon which is petty AWESOME. Third, the mech is just amazing, it has the coolest head, chest boosters and a tail whip function I wish though it had the butt torpedos from the movie. Forth, it is very, very sturdy I have had it for almost 5 moths now and moved over seas with it and did not break (I accidentally left my Garmadon in America ) And it is fun to do stop motions with it to. That is my review happy building bye

Lloyds Mech dragon

This set is ace (that's obvious) and the free battle pod is awesome. But the set box is literally TWICE the size of the actual contents. 
This isn't good for many reasons; transportation, storing etc but does seeing a big box on the shelf distract you from the price? Who knows. I think Lego should rethink their packaging tactics. It's not cool!!!

Great set but terrible box.

Let's talk in a holistic way, the dragon's head is simply AWESOME, it really looks like the movie, but I have to complain about the body. In the movie trailers the dragon seems to be solid, but this set looks like it needs to eat at least 10 cows to get in shape. The abdomen looks thin. The thorns on it's back look huge in the movie, and I know there are pieces like this to give it a similar touch. Finally, the dragon's tail is not the same.
I had high expectations about this dragon, because it respects the tradition about the dragons of the Asian mythology, not like the previous ones, that seemed more like European dragons.

Good, but I'm disappointed.
