Ninjago seems to elicit awe among 7-year olds, but I'm no Lego fan, so can't really speak to its assets. Unless your child has previously assembled a Lego kit, this could just end up as a pile of rubbish scattered on the floor. Baby steps.

My youngest son loves ninjago and legos. He used all of his Christmas money to pick this up on sale, but even at full price I think it's worth it since it's a pretty big set. He loves how flexible the dragon is and the catapult and all the minifigures, so the fun keeps going even after you finish building it :-)

My 7 year old loves it

My 9 yr old grandson thought this was one of the best sets yet. The dragon is very large and has alot of cool movable parts. It took him a few hours to put together, didn't  even want to take a break. He loves it.

Perfect gift

My son loves LEGO and Ninjago so this was the perfect surprise for him.  He loved it the moment he saw the box and could not wait to get started building it.  He put it together easily following the instructions and had been playing with it since.  I would recommend this to any fan.
