Construction

The price for the set is reasonable for the size. My son received this for Christmas and loved it. He worked on the set for hours without paying any attention to the Television. He loves the movement of the head and legs. Overall, a great lego set and gift.

LEGO

The centrepiece of this set is definitely the mech creature. The build was interesting and surprisingly didn't feel repetitive despite the obvious need to make two of the front and rear legs. Normally after making one I find the second one a bit boring but that wasn't the case in this build as the techniques used are interesting and very effective. The way the head is tensioned to the body is very simple but strangely impressive and really helps the look of the finished creature.

The set goes in with the board game feature and there are a separate set of instructions that show how to play. However, as the bulk of this build is the creature with just a couple of separate scenery bits that seem to make up the game I can't help but feel that is a bit of an add on designed to market the kit as an add on. Despite that it was well worth the time spent building and the money spent on the set. The mech creature is incredible and he looks great on my display next to the Destiny's Bounty.

Plenty of mini figures included too which made me happy - even though I am not a mini figure collector I still enjoy it when I get a good range of them to play with.

It was pretty easy to put together. I recommend this Zane's Mino Creature legos to anyone with a son that is looking for a new legos toy.

Very fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is almost 6 and loves lego. I mostly let him handle builds by himself and if he's stuck he has to try before he comes for help. He also oddly loves to take lego he's just finished back apart and reassemble. Not sure why :). On this one he loves the head movement and detail. More details in the video below. Love the head movement and complexity

Great lego set

He's really, really good at building Lego's so this one was kind of easy for him, but I love watching him do it. Would recommend this for someone that loves Lego's and is in the intermediate stage.

Nice Lego Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my 8 year old to play with and he really loved them. They were pretty time consuming and difficult to put together so my husband helped him. I would recommend this set for an older child or a child more experienced with legos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Kids loved building this LEGO NINJAGO Zane's Mino Creature. This set includes 4 buildable figures, Hero Zane, Hero Cole, and their Mino Creature. There is also a dice spinner for kids to play the NINJAGO board game. The LEGO board game, featuring a ninja dice spinner and a fort with a special trap. Kids can spin the dice and take part, with the aim of avoiding the trap, getting past their enemies, and more. It can also be combined with other LEGO sets to create a giant board game. Although the instructions for the game aren't that clear, it was still an awesome build for the kids. The set is very organized and has detailed clear instructions to build your Rhino and mini figurines. The Legos are in numbered bags which is Super convenient. The set is so organized and set up for you at the start of each stage of building it tells you which numbered bag will be used at the moment and all the pieces you need are in that bag, There's no need to empty every bag looking for a specific piece because it's already Divided for you. This set was not only super fun to build, but includes cool features like the rhinos head shaking up and down, the mouth opening, and an awesome game for hours of fun. I really enjoy building this with my kids and will continue to enjoy rebuilding it all over again.

It was a bit of challenge, but he was still able to assemble it in less than an hour by himself with only a little encouragement. Since putting it together, he has continued to play with it as part of his broader lego collection almost daily. Just one note of warning... as ninjago characters the lego people do all have weapons. As a result, the legos do encourage play fighting.

Fun to build and for play

A nice set, good mini figures and my son particularly likes the way the creature's head moves up and down. 

There is a small diagram with no words which is meant to be instructions for playing the board game, but it's really not clear how to play, which is a shame.
