I love this set. Took me about 12 hours to put together and it has a ton of amazing details, the price was also good for the piece count. 10 out of 10

I must say I enjoyed building this set the most out of other creator expert sets I own. It was straight forward and interesting to see it all come together. There is a lot of details within the interior. The only issue is you cannot see them without taking the separating the floors. There is a story with the set, but I'm not interested in the story as others were. I think the set looks fantastic. The box does nots do it just. One complaint I have is the black pages of the instruction manuals. They made some of the darker pieces hard to make out during construction. I like the black box these adult sets come in, but I do not like the black paged instruction manuals.

Great Modular for my Collection

LEGO

I was very excited to get this set. Stood in line 45 mins to make sure I could get my hands on one. My son helped me build this and he really enjoyed the little details such as the donuts and pastries along with the jail cell. The adult display value is great and the kid playability is cheesy as well. 
The build was straight forward. I am tempted to get 2 more and make a more scaled precinct building with more cells etc. 
I enjoyed the build and my son did too.

Creator Police Station

For whatever reason, I was hesitant to purchase this year's modular when I saw the initial pictures back in November 2020. After seeing more of the interior and seeing how tall the structure is, my wife and I decided to buy and add this to our collection. 

And we're very happy we did! The build is incredibly fun, with lots of fun details, most seen, some hidden, and the height and width of the set, reminded us of the buildings from the gold and silver eras of modulars past. Though we've enjoyed the previous iterations the last three years, it's nice to have a larger, new set.

Return of the Big Boys!

I'd been wanting another modular set after getting bitten by the bug after building the bookshop and attached Victorian house. I was caught between choosing this one or the new boutique hotel but the Police Station won me over after seeing it in person at the Southampton store. 
It just has such a wealth of detail to it and a very generous amount of bricks including some special and unique printed ones.
What I particularly love about this set is the story told of a doughnut thief illustrated by a clever hidden hole in the floor above the adjoining doughnut shop. 
It was a wonderful build which I did in small stages after work over the course of a week. A perfect way to unwind after a busy work day. 
And now it looks marvellous in place on my shelf with the bookshop. 
Now I just have to choose which set will join them!

A Delight of Details

I was really excited when Lego announced that the next modular building would be a Police Station. I've wanted one of these in the modular collection for years. I feel this set has helped cement a return towards the greatness last seen with Assembly Square. However, the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would have liked some additional contents inside the police station such as a forensic lab, armoury, suspect line-up area as well as more police minifigures and a police car from the building era. Nevertheless, it's a good set and I really like the addition of the donut shop and the tunnel under the jail cell.

A Welcome Addition to the Modulars

First thing's first, great build, some nice details and - as always - good fun to build with my 9-year-old son.
As a stand-alone modular it's fantastic however, against my others (I'm fortunate to have them all) I struggle to make it work . . . The stepped roofline makes it awkward against some of the taller, slab-sided modular buildings (especially those with visible internal details showing on the outside which, if you're like me, prefer to keep hidden) but far worse (in my opinion) is the significantly recessed frontage - especially above the newsstand. It's a great feature on its own with the billboard but, again, it's wasted against the other (generally) evenly fronted modular buildings as the detail is obscured.
At this stage I appreciate the "Downtown Diner" and "Parisian Restaurant" each also offer a challenging end when joining other modulars (I have these next to each other so the low sections of each roughly mate-up) but I found the double-recessed detail on this set annoying . . . I've tried it against each of the other modulars and periodically move it about . . . 
The other detail I didn't like was that many of the internal walls did not reach the ceiling(s) . . . I know we're talking Lego and not real buildings but walls dividing different "properties" should reach the ceiling (maybe that's just me?) . . . If this was done to save a bit on bricks, I'd happily pay more for completed rooms, please.
So in summary, great build, but bear the above in mind if you have other modulars and are looking to expand your "street".
Finally (sorry, feel like I'm ranting) PLEASE move away from black pages on the instruction books !!! The black and dark brown pieces look almost invisible to me . . old eyes, probably . . .

Great BUT doesn't fit well with my other modulars

Very disappointed with this modular...ode' to the builds of years past that resembled class, creativity and style. Oh please come back to us! Teal, lavender and kid-ish design and appearance. When will Lego bring back the Creators of the Detective's Office, Pet Shop, Palace Cinema, Brick Bank???
