I love the lunar sets. This one was great to build. It is also one that wouldn't look out of place displayed all year round either.
The bridge and pagoda looked great and reminded me of a park at in HK.

This is a such a beautiful set and an extremely fun build. There is so much attention to detail.  I highly recommend it!

Beautifully detailed and really fun to build!

Thank you so much to LEGO for creating this set inspired by Chinese New Year and Eastern architecture/culture. Every moment I spent building it, I felt so happy and included that such a huge and mainstream company was catering to my culture, something I didn't get much of growing up. Even for those who can't relate on a cultural level, this set is just plain beautiful, and the building techniques will keep you on your toes. Literally almost every bag came with new building techniques, and it was wonderful to see it all come together. I also love that there were ZERO stickers included. Such high quality from LEGO - everything was either printed on bricks or plastic. Please never stop creating these seasonal CNY sets, LEGO!

I have always been impressed with LEGO's line of the Chinese New Year sets, and this one was no different. Nice printed pieces, lots of pieces in different colors and shapes, and cool building techniques. Also comes with a nice selection of minifigures. 

It displays nicely on its own, but also looks great next to other modulars or other chinese new year sets.

A lot of the pieces are used for the landscaping, so the overall build looks “short” and sparse. However, there are nice intricate details, and it's nice to have a nice brick built pond and landscape in a Lego set. Highly recommend

Beautiful set

I'm an experienced adult builder, but this set looked so lovely, I had to get it. I was not disappointed. It's fun yet serene with details of water, bamboo, a bridge, flowers, and stonework. It is an easy set, but absolutely charming.

If you are an adult fan looking for a fun yet peaceful scene to escape to, this is the set to get! Looks great paired with the Bonsai set as well. Enjoy it!

Beautiful scene

I absolutely LOVE this set. The details are cool and whimsical, and I like having a robust set to build for a winter holiday, when we're spending more time inside. I plan to build this each year in celebration of Lunar New Year. With that in mind, I have one suggestion: it would be great if, each year, we could purchase a mini-set of new New Year animal to replace in this set. As an example, instead of building the light-up Ox this year, it would be neat to purchase a light-up Tiger that fits into this set. Thanks!

Wonderfully Unique Set

I own TONS of Lego sets but this has quickly become one of my new faves. It has lots of neat building elements and has taught me a couple new tricks for when I'm free styling. I LOVE all the little details which this has in spades whereas some other sets don't, you will really notice them as you build. I bought this to add to my Ninjago city sets as it fits the Asian style and it seems to be a perfect addition to my city, now I just need to track down a Ninjago Docks set for a reasonable sum and I will be happy. Do yourself a favor and buy this set if you're on the fence, its really fun to build and to just look at and admire.

AWESOME

This set has beautiful details, but the build is ridiculously over-complicated. What could be accomplished in 4 bricks takes 15 bricks and many of these complicated builds are hidden 10 steps under broad plates. It feels like the unnecessary extra bricks and extra steps are just there to raise the brick count. I was unhappy building much of this set. Previous festival sets have been much more fun and satisfying to build.
