As A Gift

I, along with a few other friends, all chipped in on this item as a birthday present for a mutual friend. The look on his face when he saw it made it worth every penny spent!! We spent that afternoon and some of the following morning putting it together. Other than a few weak spots any lego has, it was a really sturdy piece. I would HIGHLY recommend this if you are the avid star wars lego collector

I bought this Lego set for my 11-yr old grandson. He thought it was "really cool". In fact, he wanted to start putting it together immediately Christmas eve. His parents thought otherwise! He was pleasantly surprised at the "packaging". He appreicated the books and instructions. I would not be surprised if he had it completely assembled within 5 days, but the package indicated it was "suitable" for 16 yrs of age and up! A great gift and value for the money!

My son saved and saved his money to buy this one. He is only ten years old and once it arrived (within 5 days of purchase--awesome!), he immediately started work on it. Unfortunately, it only took him about 5 hours to complete it--and he was watching the TV too! LOL! Though, he is extremely happy and we find that the little details are excellent!

Thank you, LEGO! He even has built a Wall-E, the "pet" cockroach and Eva out of the extra pieces from his sets!

Son's Purchase

I bought this for my son for his 7th birthday. I knew it would be hard for him, but it ended up being a great project for us to work on together. The instructions are straight forward and makes it easy to follow. Many components are pinned as well so it doesn't fall apart easily. Really cool!

Awesome Lego Set

I'm so glad that I did a google search and found this item on Walmart.com because the price was exceptional. My husband is a Lego collector and Star Wars fan and this is going to be a Christmas present. Definitely recommend this item and ordering it through Walmart if you want to save money.

Great for a collector

I bought 2! What a gorgeous piece! And it's huge too! Excellent talking piece when friends come over to the house. Walmart had a better price than Lego.com. They had them at $179.99 vs. Walmart's price of $139.97. Both sites offered free shipping and charged taxes. Lego charged around 7% tax rate and Walmart an 8.25% tax rate. Even with a 10% promotional discount from Lego.com, it was still cheaper at Walmart.com. Buy this item and you will be one happy camper!!

Awesome gift for that Star Wars fan in your life!

I love Legos in general and collect several of the series myself but my husband is a Star Wars fan, a Lego fan, and R2D2 keeps popping up as one of his favorite characters. This Christmas gift was a no brainer! He loves instructions and 2000+ pieces to keep him occupied through January? Priceless!

For Star Wars fans that aren't afraid of work!

I was too excited when I came accross it so I expected it to be a little bigger. But 7.5. X 12 isn't bad though. This will be very fun to put together with my son! Its originally priced a $199 elsewhere. That So. $139 was ok ??

Awesome Toy. My wife and I put this little guy together over a few weekends and it is awesome! The 3rd foot only makes smooth contact with the ground if the two other feet are moved all the way back but all in all, a fun build and great toy! :)

Great R2D2 Lego!

My 11 year old daughter saved her own money to purchase this lego. It took her several hours to complete. She loved every minute of it!!
