My 8 year old son had this for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It looks very cool. As with all Lego the instructions are well laid out and match the age raging on the box (10+) and therefore if younger builders are attempting it they must pay special attention so as not to make any mistakes. The shuttle has a spring loaded wing adjuster which seems pretty cool. This Lego is a must for any Star Wars fan young or old.

I collect Star Wars Lego and I particularly love collecting the ships, everything from the biggest UCS sets including the lastest Millennium Falcon down to the smallest battle packs and I can honestly say this is one of my favourite sets ! It looks fantastic and was great to build but slightly more challenging than most of the sets of its size and price range . The design of the ship and how the wings work from landed position to flight position are really nice and so are the 6 figures included. It's a great addition to my collection and would definitely recommend it .

Worth the money very fun to build

I was not expecting this set to be so large, in a really good way. The build process was fun and the play features of this thing are crazy. Exceptional minifig selection as well

Iconic movie model of the Disney generation! Red/black/grey color scheme so does stand out. Could use a little more red in a few area's just to make it stand out more like on the guns. Wish it had a display stand (even if it was sold separately) for those who want to do a display, especially since it has 1 feature not listed: drop down cockpit/ramp! Moveable part's were most difficult to line up pins for yet patience get's it done. Why 3 firing laser bolts are included I don't understand as only 2 shot's are available.

The previous Kylo Ren's shuttle was very disappointing. The key feature of the set was missing: angular wings. 

This set addresses that immediately. The engineering used to get this mechanic to work is oddly satisfying. The only issue is that the wings are always at the mercy of gravity when angled outwards. I wish there was a built in function that prevents this such as the mechanism in the Tie Striker from 2016 (75154).

Other than that, the minifigures are superb, the build is satisfying, and the play-ability is bar-none. 

4/5 because of annoying gravity problem with wings.

A Massive Improvement

It's a pretty big set. The wings are better then the first Command Shuttle and more flexible. The Kylo Den figure looks cool with the red cracks. Mine came with the angry side of his face uneven. The knights of ren figures are my favorite. The weapons are long but they look nice. The sith trooper looks nice with his red armor and unique blaster. The General Pryde figure and regular trooper are ok. The ship only fits 3 figures. The back part of the ship doesn't hold any figures because it has the spring that moves the wings. Overall it's a good ship and a fun build.

Kylo Ren's Shuttle

Kylo Ren's shuttle is an enjoyable build. Decent size and an excellent selection of minifigures. The wings can extend for flight. The mechanism used is simple and effective. The inside of the cockpit has space for 3 minifigures. There is no additional interior space. You cannot see the minifigures from the cockpit but the transparent red bricks are a nice touch to the look of the design. There is even a small boarding ramp that can be deployed. It is unusable but this is a nice touch. This set doesn't have any stickers which I always enjoy. The color change from the 2015 set is nice to see and overall this model is closer to the movie version.

Bought to make up New Year's Day with kids as surprise, box ripped and tatty all on edges. Sent back and went to Smyths following day. shame.
