I loved building this and I loved how it looks when it is done. It is quite large though, especially with the guns are sticking out of the front and back. So you are gonna need a pretty big space to display it if you don't want the guns to be knocked off all the time. They do go back on really easily though. My biggest complaint, is that the doors come off really easily and stick out from the main body a little bit. So gentle play is probably your best bet but for display this thing looks amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, and Walmart was one of the few places that still had it in stock. Unfortunately, it would have been a bit cheaper at some of the other places if they still had it available.

Worth the money, probably one of the better UCS sets that won't dominate wherever you choose to feature it. also cheaper than other reliable Lego retailers.

Great product

Ordered online for the first time from Walmart although I'm a regular in-person shopper. Best price for this adult type LEGO and delivered promptly at no extra charge. 👏🏼

Delivered on time and safely

I have always wanted to had a gunship model in my room so I got this model and I surpassed my expectations. The model looks amazing on my shelf and after filling it with clones I think it looks even better. My only complaint is how when picking it up to move it is very back heavy. The problem with that is that the back is very thin and can break easily so move with care.

Great fun

LEGO

I have been collecting Lego star wars sets for the last 10 years and this is definitely one of my favorites. It was very fun to build and took me around 7 hours to complete. By the time I got halfway done, I couldn't believe how big it was, you really have to see it in person to get a sense of its size. It is worth every penny in my opinion and is one of the top UCS sets so far. If you build it correctly it is a very sturdy set and the only part that feels slightly fragile is the side door panels. Keep in mind this was designed as a display model and not for playing with. The only minor complaint I have is the minifigure selection could have been better and I would prefer less stickers on a set this big. Overall this UCS gunship is a must buy for any lego starwars collectors.

Way bigger than expected

The model is hands down 10/10... some stickers and minor flaws could have been improved but its my favorite and first UCS model. But it comes with many controversies... The figs are poor and like it or not is an important part of the set, the UCS Cantina has many exclusive figs for the same price so getting a slightly dirty mace and a "Yellow marked clone" with no arm/extra printing is kind of disappointing. The next is the way Lego responded to the community was horrid absolutely insulting! The box misprint was kind of funny and will increase sales for the product. One issue barely mentioned is the episode 2 gunship rather then a episode 3 (which is not different) but in the details about this product (right above this vary comment) it was from STAR WARS THE CLONE WARS! Which is a completely different model to the one we got.

Overall love the set but it has physical and political issues. Designers great job on the model, don't be scared of the minifigs.

Amazing model but controversial

Great buy, came with a tennis ball size hole on one side like they attempted to fist my Lego set on the shipping truck. Thankfully no pieces were missing but this is an ultimate collectors set.. the box is kinda important Walmart.

Shipping was trash

My thoughts: For the Look, 10/10, its looks amazing, its heavy, the color are accurate. The building experience is sometimes awesome, sometimes wiserd, where you almost need to pray some parts to fit. The negatives: Flimsiness. The fronts and rear cannon falls easily. The doors falls easily. They only are attached by a 1x10 on a 2x12. No more support which means they always fall more they, including completely close. Its near heavy, so the front including touch the floor I have 4 others UCS set. R2D2 (2021), Snowspeeder, A-Wing and Millennium Falcon. With the Snowspeeder, the Gunship is the most painful UCS set to move (due to parts falling. The best being the A-Wing)

Flimsy but Nice Display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The build is very unique but also very fragile and has to be held in a specific way if you wish to play with this in a battle scenario  too much pressure on the slide doors and they fall right off, (yes I built it to the exact lego I double checked) the drop down door on the rear cannot be pushed too hard or held improperly or many pieces on the back side will snap off, major issue--> the slide doors do NOT close the whole way, they pull out behind the ship and it's not Canon the designers made a huge error, the ships in the movies AND the games doors on both sides closed all the way up otherwise they wouldn't have them in space battles in Canon story. The door design ruined the set for me.

Good, but has a few issues

I was so excited for this build and contemplated buying it for months. I finally purchased the gunship and it ended up being so unstable. The gunship will fall apart everytime you try and move it. The back pieces always fall apart because they are reinforced or don't have enough surface area coverage. Also the cockpit is under so much pressure because of how this build sits in its standard. Parts will break under this pressure over time. I attempted to mount this build as well and as yoi can imagine it feel apart and is too unstable to mount. I would NOT recommend anyone buy this set. Lego do better!!
