It was a definitely good gift 🎁 for my son Wolfgang. It was for his 9th or tenth birthday 🎉. It was good. It was missing a pice. And he lost a few pieces over the years because he drops it, his siblings smash it for fun and it doesn't have the most stability. But it was still good.

This is a good review

LEGO

From bag one through 10, this project was a joy to build. Discovering new Lego characters only added to the fun. I highly recommend this set to everyone. The functionality of moving parts, detailed interior and exterior, and working projectiles on the ship as well as the handheld weapons simply amazed me!

Build of the Millennium

I couldn't believe my eyes when I unwrapped this for my 13th birthday. I mean, come on! The Millennium Falcon! I was going to wait until the next day to build it, but I couldn't resist, so I built half on my birthday and finished it the next day. It was a very enjoyable build, and it has so many features! But first, the minifigures. Lando Calrissian (sequel version) and Boolio are currently exclusive to this set, and are both great. C3PO, R2-D2, and D-O, the droids that come with the set, are all great. Classic Chewbacca and a rare Episode 9 Finn are both also great. I actually don't know who Boolio is, so I will have to re-watch Rise of Skywalker to find that out, but in a nutshell, all of the minifigures are great! The Falcon itself looks incredible on the outside, and is, of course, loaded with features! It can shoot, the whole top can open, it has an opening door, a spinning chair, a holochess table, built-in storage, a hospital-like room, a hatch to put minifigures to pilot the turrets, room for two minifigures (plus D-O) to pilot the ship, and a LOT of detail! There are stickers, but the ones in this set weren't to bad. My only complaint is that when it's on the ground and the door is open, you can't really get minifigures through the door, just a minor playability issue. Overall, it's an amazing set, and if you do not already have the Millennium Falcon, I would 100% recommend! P.S. I know I am only 13 and I have the age set to 14-18, but that's the youngest option there is, so there's nothing I can do about that.

It's the Millennium Falcon, what's not to love?

Chewy over the years has seen the falcon through many adventures. In his spare time he wanted to restore the once jettisoned escape hatch. The red markings from the clone wars are visible on this model and keeping with the style Chewbacca has blended function and form beautifully. C3-P0 agreed to take the newly finished pod for a test while on planet d.r.e.s.s.e.r.

Fun build worth customization

I have read several reviews about the playability of this model, and I would have to agree with many of them. First of all the overall size millennium falcon at over 18 inches long and the sheer bulkiness are not easy to grasp, especially by younger hands.
If a younger person picks it up and wants to fly it around, they might experience problems and a catastrophic drop.
However, where this model excels in play is when it is used in imagination, as having landed on a planet or space station. Then the entire roof opens up and allows access to the inside. Where are you can move around all the characters. There is a hollow chess board, or a wookie can challenge another crewmate and rip off their arms , If you so choose.
There is a room for resting or healing. Another area for coffee or refreshments, and the well-equipped fire control system for automated shooting of the upper and lower turrets
If there was any part of the model, that I would consider, as being delicate, it would be the rotating turrets on the top and the bottom, and I will consider the possibility of having to use some “KRAGLE“ to permanently hold this area together to enhance play .
One wonderful area of this model is the huge open floor space where you to design your own furniture and place it anywhere you want or add additional characters onto your model.
If you look at my photos, you will notice that I have moved the hollow chess away from the wall because the players cannot sit or stand in the configurations that l Lego presented in the manual. But moving the chairs to the other side of the table, allows the players (Minifigs) to sit or stand and covers to still close.
The model rest beautifully anywhere for display or demonstration, and I would highly recommend it. I had no missing parts of pieces as others have complained, and as I have had with other sets in the past, this one was perfect all the way around.

Excellent model for careful play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LEGO set is amazing! My husband and kids had so much fun building it. It took them a couple days to complete it. I have to say this is one of my favorite sets my husband and kids have put together. The detail is amazing, and the quality is great. It has an opening cockpit, spring-loaded shooter, and mini-figurines. My kids have been playing with it non-stop since finishing it. My husband wants to add it to his Star Wars collection, but I don't think my boys are willing to give it up. This is a great set for any Star Wars fan.

A Fantastic Set!

Ever since I’ve been fasting, I’ve been dreaming of building a LEGO Millennium Falcon. I finally fulfilled that dream. Not having the budget to offer me the UCS edition, I went to this set and I am delighted. It’s bigger than I expected, looks pretty solid and robust. I fell back into childhood with every piece I put together. I also like the attention to detail of the interior of the Falcon and the opening panels giving access to the interior. A set that you will not regret having acquired!

A childhood dream that comes true

A must-have lego in a fan's collection of Star Wars. When we finish building it looks even more beautiful than in the photo. The details are numerous and well done; in particular, I enjoyed the cannons at the top and bottom and the compartment to be able to repair the hyperdrive. The new minifigure of Lando is also cool. The only flaw is that when you close the Millennium Falcon you can not leave the characters sitting at the game table because otherwise you could not close the portal above this area. To finally move on to the instruction manual, it is divided into 10 essentially equal parts that took me about 30 minutes each. In short, I highly recommend this lego, it is a our regal! P.S. I added a gun holder that is found in an attachment. We can certainly do better, but I think it can be useful if we want to position the characters in a particular way while keeping the weapons on the ship in an orderly way.

Not to be missed

The set was a fun build and took me a few hours. There's a lot of thought put into the stability of the build. The panels that lit up to reveal the inside are built well and don't leave many gaps. There are however quite a few stickers but I understand that you can't print everything. The minifigures looks good. Overall good set

Good build good minifigures

This is the first Millennium Falcon Lego set I've as I wanted to buy the UCE version but I have no room to display such a large model and the other play sets have had ugly gaps which have been fixed on this version. My favourite part of owning Lego is the building experience and this set didn't let me down. There isn't anything challenging but it is fun and engaging.

Unfortunately a couple of things let it down.

I think the interior space is too sparsely detailed. The engine area on previous versions was much better. Also the landing gear are too short so the figures can't use the landing ramp

The other issue is the printing of the front canopy dish isn't straight and off by a couple of degrees. Whilst not terrible is a little disappointing. Happily R2D2's head was perfectly printed which I know a lot of people have had trouble with.

There are also too many stickers for my liking as I can never apply them without getting them crooked, air bubbles or dirt particles trapped under them.

My first Millennium Falcon purchase

Arrived on time, but the box was torn, crushed, and taped shut on the edges, as if it had been opened before. Curiously, the FedEx box was in perfect condition, so the item was shipped this way by Walmart. Disappointed, and returning to the store for a refund.

Arrived as promised; package severely damaged
