This is a gift for one of my children and I know he will be elated to get it; however, it does not diminish the fact that I have to pull "tooth and nail" to pay for this set! My other son still wants a Lego hulk minifigure, for example, but you have to buy another whole $50 set for it! I only buy Legos now for birthdays, because who can afford buying these sets that often! As always, Lego brand is durable and fun.

The amount of mini-figures, including redesigns of previous models with customizable options and pieces, was excellent. The Sentinel construct was fun to build, though it was smaller and more simplistic than other similar Lego sets I have built in the past. The only major flaw was a missing piece that was crucial to finish the front of the X-Jet. Other than that, the product was worth the money spent on it.

Overall, the product was enjoyable to work with.

My son loves Lego superheroes, so it's a great find for him. He loves the details on each caracters and of course the Sentinal.

It is a good price for a good item. There are 4 minifigures and two builds (ship and sentinal). The ship is really nice, but the sentinal could be better. The 4 minifigures are great.

Lego X-Men

First of all I got this from Walpole Walmart for just $35+tax.... You read that RIGHT! $35+tax..... It's still on clearance and I think there are still 2 sets left... Anyway as far as the original price goes it's too much even though you'll get 4 minifigs 1 robot fig and a jet aka Blackbird. Now the actual set is awesome man. Specially the Blackbird cause it can carry 4 minifigs and it has 4 missiles ( 2 push and 2 spring ). The sentinel looks awesome and it has a lot of articulation except for the head which you need to detach just to make it look left or right.
Now to the minifigs. Magneto has an interchangeable facial expression ( normal and angry ) and headdress ( white hair and his bucket like helmet :p ) and his costume is based on the comics. Wolverine has an interchangeable facial expression and headdress ( normal for his hair headdress and angry for his cowl ), his costume is based on the comics too and he has a removable claw which he has to hold... Storm has an interchangeable facial expression too ( normal and angry ) but she only has 1 headdress ( her white long hair ). Cyclops on the other hand has 1 facial expression only and he doesn't have a headdress but at least his costume is based on the comics. Overall the Set is X-cellent and I'm pretty sure X-men and LEGO fans will love it. See you on the next review guys :D
