After seeing an excerpt from a video game of Super Mario, my three-year-old found the cat costume very funny! I couldn't miss it and it's actually his favorite! So he laughs when he plays with it and he does the cat at the same time! He is able to walk Super Mario Chat around everywhere. So that's 5 out of 5 stars for us! More general comment on improvement sets: As improvement sets are not essential for play, children can choose their favorite and leave it on their Mario at any time. That being said, we still have four sets already! We opened three power up packs (Cat, Propeller and Builder) this Saturday and my little boy started changing Mario pants every two minutes! He noticed that after typing a brick that we do not often have the star that makes invincible: will we be entitled to this power-up pack one day? In any case, that would be my son’s happiness.

This is a very cute set. My daughter enjoys making Mario climb walls. I like how there is a scene to go with it. This is a great set to add more fun to your lego Mario collection.

After seeing an extract from a Super Mario video game, my three-year-old found the cat disguise very funny! I couldn't miss the opportunity to buy it. It is, indeed, his favorite! He laughs when he plays with it and he acts like a cat at the same time! So it's 5 stars out of 5 for us!
More general comment on the power-up packs: 
Since the kits are not essential to play, kids can choose their favorite and leave it on their Mario at all times. That being said, we do have four sets already! 
We opened three power up packs (Cat, Propeller and Builder) this Saturday and my little boy started changing Mario's pants every two minutes! 
He noticed that you don't often get the star (invicible Mario) when hitting the brick: will we ever get that power-up pack one day? In any case, it would make my boy really happy.

I was surprised when I was looking for outfits for my son's newly purchased Mario LEGO set. It's way cheaper than I imagined it would be and the details are great. My son got a kick out of his Mario being able to change outfits and the app/toy being able to recognize what suit Mario is wearing.

It is nice to add a little climbing to fun.

Cat mario is awesome

Like all the suits, the biggest draw is really just changing Mario's outfit.

I have all the suits and none of them bring anything really exciting to the table in terms of interactivity.

With this suit, you can climb any surface in a rocking motion (wall, door etc) and a sound effect plays. Also a bell mushroom appears on Mario's stomach.

The down side (or up side if you're really creative) of this one being the interaction is not actually at all with the Lego

Still I think largely they're just about the appearance and that part is nice. I like the added flourish of giving each suit a little platform to sit on, looks great in a row but also lets you add it easily to a course, to actually "power up" during play. You can "hop" Mario in to change suits, a nice little detail.
