This is in the top 2 or 3 Tie Fighters LEGO has put out over the course of 20 years.

We had one VERY happy little boy when he woke up to his new LEGO set that Santa left for him!! He has not put this thing down since. Very happy with this purchase!

My kids love legos and Star Wars, so this was a big hit. The assembly and directions were age-appropriate as you'd expect from Lego. As a general comment, legos certainly have gotten pricey, but their products are great. This star fighter is no exception, it's sturdy and looks really cool. It shoots little disc legos really well. My kids love it.

my brother loved the figures, the detail in the cockpit is soo amazing !!! my brother loves building legos and wanted to work in construction so im glad he loved it

Legos (IMO)are a little overpriced considering the small amount of plastic you get for the money(i know injection molding dies are crazy $$$$ i have the same opinion of  Warhammer figs, looking at you Games Workshop). That aside. The quality of them are unmistakable,  Meticulous organization of the bags (9 of them) , Very clear instructions including an app? with digital instructions for those that prefer that.  Going through the construction, building the sections  and the overall structural rigidity  of the ship is solid. Includes a lot of extra figures and a (small) vehicle.

You know what to expect from a brand like Lego.

I would warn others that this is a 1/35 scale or "play scale" version of the TIE Bomber, so if you want to upscale the size of it you may want to figure it out by referencing how other people did it on Rebrickable as scruffybrickherder did with his TIE Bomber. If you're not worried about size scaling, and not a hardcore LEGO AFOL, and are just getting it for your casual kid to play with it's okay.

Happy for the casual family man

I would have loved this set if the product had arrived safely in a properly packaged box. My merchandise was shipped in a bag unfortunately doing a lot of damage to the box and packaging. The vader inside is 9.5☆ though. There's only One Lego Vader that's better in my humble opinion. Everything is great about this from the box graphics, to the build details and interactively like sping loaded laser bolts and bombardment missiles that really fall. I just wish my merchandise had been considered when it packed for shipping as it was a sad day for the Lego Disney Star Wars Empire Indeed.

Great Item, Depressing Shipping.

I opened the set to find mini figures missing, I opened the rest of the bags thinking it was a packing error, but I couldn't find the mini figures. Further more, I decided to just build the set, but I couldn't get past step 4, because a piece needed was missing.
