An ingenious engineering feat and excellent demonstration of Lego Technic capabilities. A clear and easy to understand manual comes with it that occasionally needs careful following and concentration. Took me a full week to put together, spending about half a day per day. It is huge when finished and surprisingly strong and rigid allowing picking up its circa 4kg built weight securely.

This is a fabulously designed model, and represents excellent value for money given the shear variety and number of pieces... not sure what else I'd use 8 excavator buckets for though.
As an experienced lego builder it still took me two days to complete (without going mad) but it would be possible to make it last longer :-)
Just a shame the boom height adjustment isn't motorised..... ah well.
Summary - A masterpeice of Lego Design!

Largest Technic Ever!

This set is one I would recommend only for die hard lego fans as the build is extremely challenging and getting the moving parts in the right place takes time but once you have it this set is so cool and at almost 4000 pieces the biggest technic set to date
