Bday present

This is an incredibly advanced Lego set. It is not for extremely young children. It's a lot of fun to build and the playability is off the charts. This bulldozer is huge. My only  gripe is the price. I'd like to see a much larger technic set in terms of piece count. Somewhere between 6000 to 9000 pieces

D11 bulldozer

I'd previously built the Technic Lamborghini, and while I enjoyed it, wasn't especially looking forward to my next Technic build.  However, I kept seeing the Bulldozer and after watching some videos demonstrating its functionality, I decided to spring for it.  I took my time (~ 25-30 hours) spread out over two weeks, being sure all the pieces were correctly in place.  The moment of truth was last night, when I finished the build and fired up the app to really test things out.  The result?  Wow...I am now an absolute Technic fan, and - as I write this - the postman is just delivering the Bugatti!  Can't wait to get started on that, and of course looking forward to the Ferrari.

LEGO Technic...I believe!

I am 75 years old and haven't build any Lego since my children were kids, 50 years ago. My wife bought me the Bugatti Chiron for our last wedding anniversary and I became hooked. I bought the CAT bulldozer a month ago and I thought the Bugatti was difficult but the CAT is on a whole different level. The detail is amazing and the remote control app is superb. It needs a great deal of concentration during the build because the detailed instructions have to be followed precisely, one small piece fitted incorrectly will effect the working of the final model but the sense of achievement when I switched the model on and everything worked successfully was tremendous. One word of advice, don't rush your build, take your time and enjoy putting every piece together.

Brilliant Model

Fantastic build & play !  I have four Volvo Haulers (different colors), a Liebherr excavator, the Rough Terrain Crane, the 4x4 Tow Truck and now this huge dozer!  Each built exactly right the first time and those sets using the Control App worked perfectly at the start! Love my pseudo construction company, kudos Lego !  The key is to take a bit more time when building Technics that are App Controlled, accuracy is essential to reduce frustration and failure time !

New Item in the fleet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lego Cat D11 app-controlled bulldozer is a fantastic addition to the Technic range. It is an incredibly rewarding build. The model is ultra-realistic with amazing authentic details and features which you can explore as you progress with the build and visibly see thanks to the large size. The app controls work flawlessly and really bring this heavy-duty machine to life! This is a great set to buy for yourself or as a gift. It will give long hours of challenging and focussed building experience.

Realistic model, very detailed, fun to build

This is hands down one of the best technic sets to come out of LEGO. I'm a pretty advanced builder and an engineer by day so I'm very critical on my reviews. I haven't been a fan of the app controlled functions in the past however this has changed my mind. It was exciting to build, its HUGE, highly detailed, functions very close to the dozer in real life, and so easy to use with the app. It has just the right amount of power for full functionality, even the stairs are motorized. If you're on the fence I wouldn't hesitate to buy this right away.

One of the best

This was excellent fun to build; the instructions were spot on. I liked the way that part-through you could test the drive system and fix any problems before building anymore, an excellent feature. My only fault was with the app, which continues to demand an update every time it's opened.

Great build

Thought it would be good with my volvo dump truck but it ended up being nothing but problems
I am 15 hours in and still on stage 2 had to start over completely after stage 3 due to a gearbox problem
Rebuilt it and now the motors on the gearbox have no power when plugged in and connected 
They worked 20 minutes ago I don't know what happened
