If you love large toys, I highly recommend this build. It's a Great build project, not only because of the high piece count, but because it's so involved. Great job, and kudos to the engineers on the design. It is so realistic. I also love that you can control this unit from an app. Many hours of family fun in your future. I do however have a small gripe. 1) How can Lego put out an item like this and not include a construction guy with a helmet...... Lol, and  2) why doesn't this unit also include one of those small tools to dismantle the unit . Thanks for the fun times, Lego.

Love large toys, this is a must have.

LEGO

I'd previously built the Technic Lamborghini, and while I enjoyed it, wasn't especially looking forward to my next Technic build.  However, I kept seeing the Bulldozer and after watching some videos demonstrating its functionality, I decided to spring for it.  I took my time (~ 25-30 hours) spread out over two weeks, being sure all the pieces were correctly in place.  The moment of truth was last night, when I finished the build and fired up the app to really test things out.  The result?  Wow...I am now an absolute Technic fan, and - as I write this - the postman is just delivering the Bugatti!  Can't wait to get started on that, and of course looking forward to the Ferrari.

LEGO Technic...I believe!

I have spent a few days slowing building this model. It has been great fun and interesting to build giving an insight into how it is really built. I followed the instructions but I was a bit concerned about how it would work when used with the app. Once connected with Bluetooth and the Technics App I needed to make 2 adjustments but the app took me through the set up and within 10 minutes my D11 was fully operational. I am very impressed especially because this was my first Technics model.

Great Fun

I am 75 years old and haven't build any Lego since my children were kids, 50 years ago. My wife bought me the Bugatti Chiron for our last wedding anniversary and I became hooked. I bought the CAT bulldozer a month ago and I thought the Bugatti was difficult but the CAT is on a whole different level. The detail is amazing and the remote control app is superb. It needs a great deal of concentration during the build because the detailed instructions have to be followed precisely, one small piece fitted incorrectly will effect the working of the final model but the sense of achievement when I switched the model on and everything worked successfully was tremendous. One word of advice, don't rush your build, take your time and enjoy putting every piece together.

Brilliant Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my very first Lego Technic set and wow this really is a stunning and absolutely gorgeous model, along with an interesting build design. Surprised how big this machine is and the functions all work pretty decent.

Took me and my partner over a week to build, couldn't do it when kids were around so had plenty of breaks.. we enjoyed building this set together it was fun and sometimes challenging but what an experience.! We loved building it together. Good job Lego.! Once built just download the free app to control the bulldozer very simple to use. 

My friend has the Liebherr model and in comparison Liebherr has 7 motors and 2 hubs, while this only has 4 motors and 1 hub. I think Liebherr has more functions to play around with.. but they both look beautiful and stunning at the end of the day. 

Overall this bulldozer is a pretty cool set but definitely over priced in my opinion. Highly recommend for the construction vehicle lovers.!

Stunning and gorgeous model.!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I was over the moon when I opened this up and it brought back the feeling of being a child playing with my Lego, this doesn't let you down on the high standards of the Lego brand , its very easy to follow especially if your an avid Lego user, there are full instructions to help you construct the Bulldozer and can be controlled by your smart mobile, the tracks are fully adjustable which for me was really exciting and you can also control the ladder blade and ripper via your mobile control+ app.
All the parts come numbered in clear bags and you get a full instruction guide to help you construct your bulldozer, this is very big and stands out and well worth the investment.
It is very challenging at times but I enjoy this and it is a good project to set aside when you have time.
I love seeing the motorised parts that move and bring your Lego to life, I would recommend this for all adults that are looking for to bring back childhood memories or just feel young at heart.

Best Lego your ever BUY !!

First and upmost no missing parts! Excellent kit! I enjoy building big kits with lots of parts and operating gizmos. This is one of those! Realistic, lots of gears and intricate building sequence's. Took my time to build it and enjoyed every minute of it. Having built the Liebherr 9800 and the Off Road Crane 42082, this adds to my small collection of complex kits. If anything I would change would be the color of the threads: grey would have looked more realistic. The Iphone app is a little bit difficult to use and confusing at times. Overall it was a very satisfying building experience, a great build and can not wait for the next huge kit to come out.

Excellent kit!

Awesome build from start to finish, pieces went together very well. I didn't rush this, built over 3.5 days. And worth all the time spent on it, biggest let down is it is under powered. It ate x6 new duracell batteries just calibrating, had to change them after that. Maybe they could do with being powered by x2 9v (PP3) batteries (worth thinking on Lego),I'm sure the motors would cope with that?

This is a BIG machine

All I have to say its an awesome build about 15-16 hrs to finish. Very impressed with all the gearing motors, attn to detail.  I give this 10/10. Everything worked the first time trying.

D11 Dozer

The overall building process was fun and varied, there's lots of cool gearing and a few newer pieces as well as the new wide tracks.

The price is on the higher side for a large motorized set, at least compared to others like the 42100 liebherr excavator or  the 42114 volvo 6x6.

The play is ok but clunky. Switching in between any of the non-driving actions takes several seconds (as I understand it, it's to reduce tension on the gearbox by wiggling the motors) and also means that only one action can be done at once (not including driving). A little disappointing.

Overall, it's a great building experience and looks fantastic as a display, but functionally and price-wise it's slightly lackluster.

Fun build, not so great value, clunky operation

Thought it would be good with my volvo dump truck but it ended up being nothing but problems
I am 15 hours in and still on stage 2 had to start over completely after stage 3 due to a gearbox problem
Rebuilt it and now the motors on the gearbox have no power when plugged in and connected 
They worked 20 minutes ago I don't know what happened

Biggest mistake of my life
