Can be compact, but some find them uniform in size.

This kit is a great improvement over the F1 McClaren and the F1 Mercedes which I also have built.  I think that Lego is refining their technique with each kit that comes out.  The wheels and tires are much better looking with this kit, the suspension is improved, and the multiple speed shifter is a nice addition.  Overall, a very nice looking finished product.

I seriously do recommend this set to those that Love the sport of F1, a major fan of Ferrari, or just love cars in general. The Build experience is great. Not much of a play set, as this is intended to be added with the rest of your Collection. If not starting your Lego F1 campaign.

Good build

As an F1 fan, I was really looking forward to building this. I was extremely disappointed that it doesn't have the Lego builder instructions to be able to turn the figure around. It only had the PDF version. I could have really used that. Beside the disappointment with the instruction format it was nice. I felt very accomplished after completing it.

Frustration with Instructions

The Ferrari car is just lacking something from the finished product. The suspension makes it sit too high up. Compared next to the McLaren F1 car the Ferrari looks a bit cheesy. It could have easily been 300+ more pieces to detail it out a bit more in my opinion. I was hoping this Ferrari, which I've been waiting for, was a higher quality.

Finished product lacking

The finished product looks cool but, sadly, it's a disappointing build. We were so excited to receive it but the build was so much easier than expected. For all the hype and the hefty price tag, we were hoping that it would be more intricate and challenging. Would recommend if you're an F1 and/or Ferrari enthusiast, but not if you're looking for an exciting and complex build experience.
