Ordered this for my 16 year old son for Christmas- he loved it, he's really into legos so trying to find ones he doesn't have it's hard. I think the jeep wrangler is one of the coolest looking he's done.

I know this is a retired Lego set but if you can get one it's worth your time to put it together.

Awesome find

My 10yo loved this set! He has been needing higher level complexity after doing Legos for  6  years. This Technic set fits that without being $100-$200.

I LOVE THE SHEER SIZE of the box. It looks like a substantial gift at about 13" long (I didnt measure). This is a Xmas gift for my 10 yr old son who doesnt want TOYS like in the past but Im not preferred to onky buy him clothes. So LEGOs is a GREAT transition toy from little kid to teen. Frankly, Adults play with Legos and build all kinds of stuff. This is just a great toy for EVERYONE!

Bang for your buck

Make sure all pieces are in the package. The entire jeep was missing a round 5 small pieces and you could tell until it was fully built. Walmart fully refunded and I bought another one with all pieces. It's fun to build, very cool build, you can add lights and motor from Amazon.

Awesome build

This set is not for beginners or those that do not have patience to read the directions to a T.  Great final product and super impressive.  Building with a lego experienced 11 year old proved its challenges but thats on me for letting him make mistakes knowing half the thing would have to be ripped apart to fix one small missed detail.  Part of life.  Took us about 3.5 hours to complete.  Keep in mind x2 times mid build we had to fix mistakes and once complete had to backtrack because the back tires rubbed and had to break it apart again. Still very fun and great time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm careful about what lego I purchase. I don't like clutter. I don't like buying things that won't be used or appreciated.  This product didn't quite meet that criteria after more thought (apologies for the return).  If it had been marked down as a clearance item it would have been a joy to build but at near retail it felt like something that was a kind of waste of money for me. I'm glad I realized that before opening the box - someone else can enjoy it !

Such a great deal!! I was so excited but then my daughter went to Legoland yesterday and bought a Lamborghini Lego set for 25 bucks. I was bummed that I got her these for Christmas but then I realized her set from Legoland was only 200 pieces. This one on Black Friday deal was 700 and something pieces! It was definitely a steal!

Quite a few pieces were missing so we can't assemble.  Very frustrating.  Please let us know if we can somehow get the missing pieces.
