Biggest and Best set I own. This set is Technic, so its mostly got an advanced feeling to it. Tiny gears and long axels create a vehicle with insane suspension and size. I really like the Lego system Cabin. This means I can set miniatures into the Orange box in the front/center of the explorer. It can compress or enlarge, in fact it can be bigger than shown on the picture as part of its design. Super amazing set. No mini-figures included though. Id recommend to get and helping if its for a child. So worth it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing set. My 10 year old received it for his birthday and hasn't stopped raving about it.  The set is huge!  Loads of play features like the entire rover extends in length to increase the rover storage surface during adventures and play, and then shrinks back which is great for storage. Also loads of moving parts that are a staple of the Technic line. Great set to transition to the Lego Technic line for a child who is getting older.

I bought it fort my grandson. He was very excited to  assemble this by himself it didn't take him long to get it put together. He loves it!

This was a really fun build. I had a lot of fun with this particular LEGO set. It goes nicely with the other space-themed LEGO set out there.

Great set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product that I and my 10-year-old nephew built together. We had so much fun building it that we ended up finishing it in one sitting (took about 5 hours) when I had initially thought it would take at least 2 days. The manual is very intuitive and we never got stuck. It even comes with a section that shows how to use the rover once it's built. The final model looks great: it is big, bulky, wobbly (needed for extra terrestrial exploration) and fits the space theme. I was amazed by the amount of details included in the set ranging from the actuated doors, to the extendable wheel frame, the deep suspensions, the operated crane (with many additional items that can be hooked with it), and the exploration robot (with great actuation as well), and the crew elevator and headquarters, just to name a few. My nephew loves the fact that you can drive the rover using a wheel on top of the drivers' cabin, making it much more of a usable toy than simply a decorative piece.
