Price

Build

This is my second Lego Technic purchase of the flagship style products (after the Porsche 911 GT3 RS) and I have to say it's going to be tough to find a better or more rewarding model and build than the Mercedes Benz Arocs.

Build itself took me around 12-14 hours across 5 days and while it was challenging (particularly the crane arm) the packaging of the components allows you to identify what's going to be needed for the various stages while the thick instruction book provides plenty of detail to guide you through each step of the build.

I wouldn't recommend this product for children under around 10 years unless someone older is providing guidance as there are some complex parts of the build - particularly with the pneumatics. The hosing lengths can be quite similar and getting them all in the right place is not the most straightforward even for a 38 year old!

Finished product looks great and the functionality allows it to be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Very rewarding and I'm already planning my next Lego Technic purchase.

Cannot recommend this product highly enough!

Absolutely monsterous box of Lego. Can never really tell from a photo how big the box actually is. The build itself is just superb and I the finished product is very classy! How someone designs these things is beyond me. A must have for Technic lovers or even just lovers of huge sets!

Top of the range Lego!

This is a huge model with loads of features.  Be prepared to spend some time building it, especially the grabber section! One of the most challenging technic models in the range. It looks great alongside the Volvo L350F wheel loader. 

The model is very impressive with motor-powered tipping action and outriggers. The grabber, (the hardest part of the build) is driven by the air pump. You can raise, lower, extend the arm and open/close the bucket by setting the valves. The tilting cab reveals the working engine and front suspension. The truck rides on a full front/rear suspension with rear dampeners. 

It was fun building and looks fantastic. A highly recommended model.

Awesome model

bought this for my husbands birthday, he loved it, got it built in a weekend. loves all the moving parts. we have it on display at the moment, but I am sure he is going to want to build it again, ordering online was easy & notified via text when it was ready to collect in store. easy shopping.

Lego arocs truck.

Box arrived to store in good time. Our 8 year old son loves Technic LEGO and along with his Dad the lorry was built over the course of a few evenings. Great LEGO set enjoyed by the whole family!

Quality set as always with LEGO

I bought the Lego for a present. 
It looks as a child or adult can build this truck. 
I have to remove their packaging to be able to take it abroad otherwise the cardboard box has a good image and is strong enough to keep later on.

Good for children

I bought this for my husband as he has built similar items in the past. But this one is superb, it's time consuming as it has so many working features and big, but the quality is great. I Would recommend it.

Great product

Big, complex but fun set. Great for any Technic fan who wants a longer build. Always enjoy sets that are based on real world items rather than just generic designs.

Great set for a great price

This model from Lego shows how far the next generation of Lego has gone the air system works really well and the detail is excellent the only down side is the time it takes to build but if you like Lego like my son does the time soon passes and the outcome is worth it
