[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The parts are really nice but the procedure for installing was just too much, taking so many things apart I just put the extra hard driver for storage in one of the extra enclosures so my fault for not understanding all that I would need to do, it needs and redesign I think, as should not involve this amount of work needed to just have it there.  I think I might put a CD recordable in that spot with the parts if I can make it work without so much taking out things to do it.  I Love my new computer but this was a miss.  Lenovo is still the best products on the market, so keep up the good works but this thing does need so help.   Bob

Storage enclosure P3 Tower

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I just bought a new Thinkstation P3 because the specs say this

• 3.5" HDD up to 6TB each
• 2.5" HDD up to 1TB each
• M.2 SSD up to 4TB or 2TB each (see Storage Type) 

My old computer which I am replacing had three 3 1/2 inch hard drives in it and I thought I could just move those drives physically to the new computer.  When I opened the case I only found cables and disk cages for a single drive.
After contacting support I was told I needed to buy this kit in order to actually put in the 3 drives that their specs say they supported.

Sadly when I received the kit it only had cages for a single drive not the two drives it was proported to have, despite the online documentation showing that there should be in the parts diagram.  When I complained I was told that al that could be done was to return the kit I received, and reorder it. I am not sure I want to go through this again.

I am extremely disappointed with Lenovo.
