It's a budget 27" QHD screen with IPS panel, great viewing angles and colours. The stand is basic and not height adjustable, but it's fine at this price range. Inputs are simple, single HDMI and single USB-C connection, no DisplayPort. Overall I'm very happy with it.

However, in this day and age, it is disappointing to find that LG are still using non-recyclable and non-biodegradable expanded polystyrene in their packaging.

I love the look it gives my new desk space and its so large i can fully see everything and still maintaining quality. The sound is so strong that I dont need any additional speaker which speaks volumes when im editing videos. This is honestly worth the splurge if you are looking for a new monitor.

I use this monitor for streaming movies and office work, no gaming. I did have to upgrade my video card to provide the resolution settings that the monitor required, an unexpected expense. Now it works great. Advise checking your video card settings before purchasing if you have an older computer.

Great monitor. Minor flaws. I the actual stand isn't very sturdy even after screwing the monitor in place properly. Also I wasn't aware this monitor didn't come with built in speakers. My computer tried to output sound and it didn't work, only for me to realize much later that this monitor doesn't have speakers. Kind of a bummer as I haven't seen this before

Decent product

Screen was easy to setup but I have found that it likes to flicker.
I have tried resetting, disconnecting and reconnecting the monitor but it is a little temperamental with the flickering.
Screen is nice and sharp with a heavy sturdy base.

Big flicking screen

24U421A's packaging and user manual Does not mention if it is capable or not of USB-C Display (Output)! Connected it as extended monitor using type c cable and checked all of my display setting and it did not work! I had a chat with one of the LG online reps and I was informed that it should be capable of type-c video display, however I don't think he/she is sure of the answer since they could not find a Yes or No answer for TYPE-C display
