I purchased the air conditioner to keep a room at the end of the garage heated and cooled.  It has worked great.  I need to remember to go out and clean the filter and reset.  The filter has never been "dirty" but I clean it and reset and it cools or heats depending on the season.

Great little Air Conditioner unit I have owned several brands. Delivered on time, un-damaged and was a snap to install. It cools a 300 square foot room effortlessly.  It will be a couple months before I try the heating aspect of the unit. I expect it to work as well.

Great unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first LG heat and air combination ran 24/7 for almost 10 years. I had enclosed my porch with dog door and needed something for all seasons. It was marvelous. But old age took over and I figured I'd certainly gotten my money's worth. So naturally I replaced it with another LG heat air combination. It is really keeping my porch super comfy for dogs and I have no doubt come winter they will be nice and warm. In the Dallas-Fort area we can get some “extreme “ temperatures and I feel we are prepared for anything nature throws our way. If it lasts as long as first unit did I will be super pleased. Plus it's easy to control temperature and to clean filter. My dogs comfort is extremely important to me and this has been great. Mbe

Meets all my requirements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 in August  for an apartment with one bedroom and large living room kitchen combined. I set at 72 in summer and now 68 for winter. They run  minimally when set on Eco mode. This is a guest quarters and I was concerned about noise but it is very low dbs. I'll buy another for next guest house.

Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit does well in heating and cooling a North Texas, 400 square foot office which has about 35 feet of 6 foot high windows. In severe weather we open double doors from the main house to suppliment heating and cooling of the office.

Quiet AC/Heating Unit Performs Well

Cools a 15 x 15 bedroom with a pyramid style ceiling nicely...Install instructions could be more clear as you dont need to remove the chassis from the case for a simple window install and  you have to figure out how the black plastic clips that receive the bottom of the accordian slide clips into the bottom of the case because for some reason this is not spec'd out in the instructions...they snap in but with quite a bit of persuasion and a few careful taps of a hammer.

Good cooling with heating option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About a month old, still learning how to best use this unit, the default to eco mode after restarting is a bit of a nuisance and you then need to hit the mode button once again for cool mode. The output is a little wanting and takes longer to cool our room than our last old unit, once the room has cooled then all is fine.  The heat side of this is modest but should be some help during our cold Indiana winters.

Nice easy to control quiet window uinit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is dimensionally the same as my first unit (a 10000 BTU/hr Friedrich which I think was an LG with a different badge).  The Friedrich lasted 14 years.  No rust but finally got a leak in 2018.  Replaced with this LG.  I needed a sleeved unit with the exact dimensions, this LG was it but only 7500 BTU/hr with heating.  It lasted 3 years exactly.  Evaporator lower half freezing up - suggesting low refrigerant.  Could not find the leak.  This unit had rust around the condenser and evaporator (did not happen on the original Friedrich).
I purchased this current unit because of dimensions and sleeve (this is mounted through the wall not in a window)!  I painted under coating where the last one rusted.  If this one doesn't last I will not buy another.  The unit is in my shop and runs on a timer about 3 hrs a day unless I am working there.  The unit performs well but I think it should have not rusted and definitely lasted longer.  A few stainless steel parts would be worth the small added cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ac needs an awning according to the instuctions and their customer service. What, I have to put an awning over a window ac. STUPID engenering. They have vents on the top of the case to let rain and snow in. How big of an awning? Do they know that there is wind to blow rain and snow under the awning? It is also not supose to be in direct sun. Where in the world does the sun come up at high noon. That is a big awning to protect this. from sun, rain and snow. Find a better ac with better engenering. I am returning it.
