After a few years of use this Remote is still too "slippery" in the sense that moves awkwardly on the screen and it constantly has to be readjusted to find the target. 
If I may add: Back light the keys for easy use in the dark, such as when watching a movie at night.

By mistake I put my original remote control into a cup of coffee, next to my remote control box. Of course the remote was destroyed.
This replacement does exactly what the original remote did! This is a KEEPER!
I also moved my coffee cup to another location.

My remote control for my LG OLEG disappeared no clue,  no trace . Bought one on line it felt poorly made several of its features would stick and continue for example channels try to go up one channel and you would not need the channel guide as you would get to see all the channels in rapid succession.The volume was also run away. Bought one from LG and all is well.

Simple and SUPER smart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We previously had a generic universal version of the magic remote that broke so decided to get the OEM LG version and glad we did. It feels much more sturdy overall, even the buttons click better. The arrow/pointer function is more accurate as well. LG also shipped the remote to us very promptly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TV provider provides a cisco TV top box which brand was available on the device list but that choice did not work the remote. After contacting Customer Service I had to choose "not on the list" and in the next step I had to try one program at a time and each time test to see if it would work the top box. FINALLY, after trying each one, I was up to #48 (yes, I tried EACH one) and it worked the TV box somewhat but the guide it displays is for another TV provider so all the listings had different channel numbers. If I go back and try to find a perfect program number (God knows how many there are) I will be surprised if I don't have to start all over again from #1 again..................very frustrating. All this was to obtain the "voice-to-remote" convenience which it works the box somewhat. I made sure I got the model number from the Cisco box but nowhere could I enter it. I suppose LG can't do that part for the customer, we have to do that on our own, by trial and error, one choice at a time. Come on, guys, even the old VCR remotes came with a list of what manufacturer's remote codes (and the code numbers) work with their remote controls.

Difficult to get universal remote programmed

I've owned this product for about  a month now and it's constantly malfunctioning. The remote that I received was not the same model, but a substitute, from the LG website.I have to re-pair it to my tv everyday in order for it to function. It's very annoying.

The remote works fine. However, I’m on my second one.  The same thing is occurring to the second one as well.  The lettering on the buttons are wearing off. It looks like an old beat up remote. The remote is used primarily for myself and my wife. There has been no unusual use of it. And the same thing is happening to the second remote. it looks rather ugly sitting on my coffee table.

Can’t see faded printing on numbers

seemed like a good idea, but doesn't do anything particularly well. scrollwheel is small and fiddly and dowsn't always turn, too easy to knock the wheel down and press the button. It doesn't connect to my soundbar, so have to use separate remote for sound, it does run the bluray player, but NOT with direct start/stop play buttons like every other uniremote in the world - you have to go through menus to find the "onscreen" controls - so, yep, you guessed it, I use the players own remote.

I have basically swapped my standard remote for a very expensive standard remote and still have to use all the other remotes. Don't bother wasting your money.
