This TV is seriously amazing. The picture quality impressed me the second I turned it on. The blacks are incredibly deep, the colors pop without looking overdone, and everything feels sharp, clean, and high end.

Movies look more cinematic, sports are a blast to watch, and gaming feels super smooth. It honestly made me want to go back and rewatch some of my favorite shows just to experience them on this screen.

It is definitely pricey, but if you're looking for that real “wow” factor, the G6 OLED absolutely delivers. I am super happy with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After spending some time with the LG G5… honestly, this TV is ridiculous.

The picture quality is incredible. Super bright for an OLED, amazing contrast, and colours look much more natural and cinematic than my previous Samsung S90D. Everything just has more depth and realism instead of that overprocessed “wow” effect.

Gaming and movies both look stunning, and paired with the Q990D it feels properly premium.

Now the honest bit: There is some visible dithering / faint diagonal noise in very dark scenes or bad quality content if you look closely. Apparently it's a common WOLED thing rather than a fault, but worth mentioning because once you notice it, you notice it.

That said… with normal content I barely see it anymore because the TV overall just looks that good.

No TV is perfect, but the G5 is easily the best TV I've owned so far. 🥰

LG G5: The Best TV I've Owned… With One Small

Perfect picture and colour. Sound is a bit bizarre, volume varies from channel to channel no matter what I do. I find the Voice Pro+ reduces volume hugly. The sound issue might be because I am not streaming directly with their system, I am still using a Rogers box.

Biggest problem I had was the "white glove" delivery service apparently didn't know there is a protective film on the screen and left it on. It is invisible other than the effect it has of giving reflections. 6 hours later I was on-line and found out it could be there, and was able to find it and peel it off.

great TV for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV is lovely, stand was a bit of a faff to assemble but otherwise straightforward. TV is almost too smart and it's easy to get lost in the complex UI. But the picture quality is brilliant, the colours pop and we're very happy with this purchase.

Awesome TV

I had the E6 and this is on the same level if not better of being the high end tv on a modest to high end budget. If only the new LG sound system was affordable this would be the perfect home cinema set up. Highly recommend.

Absolutely great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No way to switch off screen saver. It will ask you to connect to the internet from time to time or recommend some rubbish. I switched off what i could in settings but still it will wake you up by blasting screen saver at 3 AM. 

Other than that it is a good, very bright screen with nice colours and OK refresh rate.

Bloated with unwanted features. Annoying.

But I find the "Magic" remote control trolley unnecessarily complicated and confusing. I have 3 other tvs and the controls are much simpler with dedicated fast forward,rewind, pause and stop buttons. Also the on line user manual has very limited information - I had to resort to searching for YouTube videos to fathom it out.

Great tv - Remote Control not so much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having saved for a premium OLED for premium money, I was disappointed to find the the lower left and right bevels that go around the OLED has come away from the internal display. I suspect the adhesive has come away from both sizes. I am getting a new one sent out but when the time frame is "when there in stock" it feels like I am left in Limbo waiting for an email at some point in time on someday. Very disappointing for a premium OLED that obviously has serious quality control issues. I'm within my 30 day cancellation timeframe under the consumer goods act of 2015 so I might just ask for a refund and get a Samsung QD-OLED.
