I assumed the cover was less expensive than a new box, so I called customer service. Not only was it much cheaper, the Customer Service Rep, Alfonso, offered to send one free of charge. Rusted hinges

Lifetime deck boxes are well built and easy to assemble. I bought one over a year ago and liked it so much I bought another one two weeks ago. They hold up well in the weather and do not leak. I am now considering buying another one as soon as I make room for it on my deck. They look good and serve the purpose very well. I recommend them.

Excellent Deck Boxes

I received this product in a damaged condition - most likely the Shipping Carrier's fault.  I immediately called Lifetime's Customer Service (CS) and after forwarding photo's of said product, I subsequently received an email indicating a new part was being shipped.  Sara, the CS Rep was very understanding and acted in a most professional manner in expeditiously resolving this issue.  Kudos to her!  The product itself, from the parts I attempted to assemble, appears to be of excellent quality, construction and durability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even after having the product for a year before opening as well as not purchasing the product from the manufacture it was quick and painless to get some parts that were missing from the box. They did not have to do that however they did it as a courtesy without cost now that's service!

Quick and painless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two of these large storage containers (130 gallon). They are about 8-10 years old. The older one holds pool chemicals and the arms and lifter arm had corroded due to the pool chemicals. I contacted the company in hope they still have replacement parts. Not only did they have the replacements but the sent them to me free of charge!  I didn't ask for them for free and I did ask what the cost would be. Maybe it is included in their warranty but they certainly could have said no because of the reason they went bad. Both boxes exteriors still look great and this company, by standing behind their products, made them a great purchase.

Stand Behind Their Products

I love the 130 gal. Deck Box.  However the same two hinges were sent to me.  In the diagram and video the two hinges and placed together with the bottom hinge being flush with the lower box.  And vice versa fr the other side.  No matter how I turned the hinges they were identical.

Just one Issue

We like the deck box but it was missing one of two hinges.  I contacted the manufacturer who said they would send the hinge.  That was on April 2.  As of April 7 we have not yet received the hinge.  I was not given a date but expect to receive it in about one week.  I cannot give the box a rating of more than 1 star until we get the hing.
