Our 6 yr old granddaughter was simply delighted when she saw her new hot pink kayak! The kayak seems to be very well made along with the paddle. The paddle is a perfect size, sturdy %26 a perfect weight for her. Once they get out on the lake, we'll know more. But for now, her parents %26 grandparents are very happy with the quality.

We purchased this item for our dog to ride on while being pulled along behind our kayaks. She is a 60 pound German Shepherd/Border Collie mix. It held her nicely and fit her just right. As far as stability goes, she did not rock or sway and it does pull nicely without any drag.

Great for pets that need a flat surface!

They are light enough that my 7 year olds can get them in and out of the water. They can navigate in them well. They really enjoy them. The adult kayaks were just too big and bulky for them. These are perfect. We now have 5 of these. I have probably received them before.

Best Kayaks for price for kids

Great child kayak! Purchased for a 8 year old. Comes in pretty colors. The paddle even matches! My little girl was excited for the pink one. The price is the best I've seen also! It seems pretty steady as well! Recommend!

Great child kayak!

Great kid kayak or anyone up to the weight limit. We had a 6, 4, and 3 year old all get in them off a dock in a tidal creek. Very stable, no one tipped over.

Great kid kayak and paddle

It's perfect for kids 6-9 years old just learning how to kayak. I've been teaching my granddaughters how to flip them over and then flip them back right and get back up on them.

Teaching the grandkids how to kayak

Perfect size for my 3 year granddaughter. She loved it. I also have one for my 7 year grandson. Perfect size for little kids and will hold up to 130lbs. They will be able to use it for a number of years before having to upgrade to a larger size.

We got one of these kayaks for each kid and, so far, they love them. We've already paddled several miles up and down a pretty wide and busy river, both with and against the current. The kids were able to keep up. Even with the waves from passing speedboats, they were able to stay upright by either facing into the waves,  or by facing away and riding them. I like that we don't have to worry about them getting trapped inside if they were to flip. And of course life jackets are a must!  These kayaks are light weight and easy to transport and could even support a small adult (under 130 or so , I believe?) Overall they were a good deal (especially since we had to buy several at once.) IMHO they  pretty much payed for themselves the first time we took them out, especially when you considering pricelessness of family time spent out in nature.

These little blue kayaks are the perfect size for our 9 and 7 year old grand daughters to use at our lake house. They are stable in the water, but light enough for the girls to pull them ashore by themselves.

My daughter almost drowned. Luckily she had a life vest but the kayak filled with water making it heavy despite the scuppers   . The seam on the side of the kayak where the top half and bottom have meet cracked right at the seam.
