Bought for Christmas,  havent been able to put up yet but the shipping was fast!

Christmas present

We bought the system five years ago and it has been reliable every day. Unfortunately, an unusual weather event occurred where wind gusts got up to 80mi/hr. Even with the height at its lowest, it blew over (base was completely filled). The backboard cracked.  Customer service was prompt and sent us a new backboard very quickly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this hoop a few years ago and it has held up really well.  It takes a little while to assemble but in the end it was worth it.  My son has spent endless hours playing with this hoop.  We have had 1 small issue with the rim clips breaking off so it made it hard to string the net after awhile.  I was able to fix it temporarily and when I contacted Lifetime they were quick to order a new rim and the hardware and I'm waiting for delivery of the replacement parts.

I had an issue with a backboard that was damaged when I revived it. Even though I purchased it from Dicks Sporting Goods, Lifetime took care of it. They immediately shipped out a replacement backboard, no questions asked. Amazing customer service.

Great Customer Service!

This is a great basketball hoop.  We are all enjoying it as a family, young and old.  One thing, if you do not have a little bit of mechanical know-how, it will be a challenge to put together.  But definitely worth it.

Order parts for basketball hoop

Really high quality. Assembly was a project, but relatively straightforward. The final product is way better quality than regular home hoops. Make sure you have the tools and sand before you start.

Great Hoop

We bought the pump adjust system for my son's birthday a month and a half ago. He enjoys it, but adults be prepared for a lengthy assembly process.  It takes a strong adult and another helper (or two for certain steps). The pole cap was the wrong size so we had to have the company send the correct one. They were very prompt at replacing the part. We would never have figured out the instructions had it not been for the video. (I may never get that background music out of my head.)  We only had to make one trip to the hardware store to get a correctly fitting bit for the ratchet for one of the steps, but what project doesn't require buying a new tool? Overall, a good product that seems like it will truly last a lifetime.

It's great, once it's been built

We've had our hoop for a few weeks now and so far it's been great!  Here's a few reason this was the model we chose for our family.  1- Portability.  We have it on the end of the RV pad and we needed to be able to move it around.  Even with the base full of water, it is easy to move around but sturdy for play. 2- I like the combination of the acrylic and steel-framed backboard.  It gives the hoop a cool look and most importantly, a great rebound.  Finally, the hoop is very easy to adjust.  Our 13 year old uses the hoop more than anyone else and she is easily able to adjust it to the height of her liking. I highly recommend this hoop!
