I was looking for an espresso machine that could come close to the specialty coffee ones that I've worked with in the past, but doesn't need to be plugged into plumbing, and is affordable. This one meet my needs once I bought a makes group head portafilter and a real tamper. The steam wand is much less intense, but it does work.

there is nothing I don't like! I make coffee shop quality coffee. The machine is attractive takes up little space and works great. Easy to understand directions works as it should. I like my cup filled more than the double so I just hot the setting again! Buy This!

Linkchef Espresso machine

It took a minute to figure out at first. I didn't realize we were turning on the milk frother instead of the espresso maker, and it also took a bit of time to learn how to lock the espresso in properly. Now that we have it figured out, it's very easy to use, and we've been making lattes daily. We use Starbucks espresso beans and syrups, and it tastes just like something we would buy at Starbucks. This machine is a great money saver and will more than pay for itself with the money we save.

Taste like Starbucks without the price tag

This is an extremely affordable entry into the world of espresso and cappuccino. We are not connoisseurs by any means. We only bought this machine because it was on a Black Friday sales. And we are glad we did because once you've had the output from this machine you may have a difficult time going back to the normal coffee makers (Keurig and carafe coffee makers).  

The learning curve is a bit steep, and the manual, while not a literary marvel, does take a few passes to understand. A YouTube video or two won't hurt in the learning process. The buttons are touch-sensitive and a bit finicky. They don't always work the first time, so you might have to swipe your finger over more than once in order to have the desired outcome. They become even more temperamental once they are covered with a layer of steam from the spout.  But no matter what you do, do not press them hard, for that is guaranteed to fail (as we found out the hard way). Again, they are intended to be "touch" buttons.  

Your container should be no more than around 4" in height. Anything taller than 4 3/8" will not fit under the handle and will tilt precariously.  

Once you get the process down, this produces top notch cappuccino. We don't see how or why we would ever need a more expensive machine than this. The only thing that remains to be seen is how long it lasts. If we can get a year or two out of this machine, it would have been worth it.

Delicious Cappuccino at an Affordable Price

I've had this machine for a couple of months now and I am quite happy with it. It is pretty much a bare bones machine, not complicated and does what it is designed to do.

A couple of caveats and warnings. If the machine stops doing what it is supposed to do, check the manual and troubleshooting tips. Any issues I have had have been easily and quickly diagnosed and resolved. Sometimes it is having to release some air using the frother arm or the frother knob not being turned all the way off. You'd never know this without the troubleshooting tips.

Again, this is a very basic machine with not a lot of bells and whistles but it does the job it was designed to do with minimal fuss and bother. I don't think you can beat it for the price.

One thing I will mention is that it does not come with one of those metal frother mugs but you can just use another regular mug or pick one up like I did for about $3-5. The metal mug does work better as it minimizes splashing.

Hello, I would like to review the espresso machine that I received from Walmart. I absolutely love it. It's adorable. It looks beautiful and it works. It's easy to operate and I love my espresso every morning. I very much recommend this machine. It comes automatically with a 24 months warranty, which is also awesome thank you so much for this beautiful product. It came immediately. It was perfectly packed easy to unpack easy to recognize all the instructions. There was not a single mistake made with the instructions the unpacking and with first operating procedures.

Decent for newcomers wanting to get started with espresso but be prepared to buy some extras to really get a good cup. Go to your local coffee shop and have them grind their beans for you to espresso size and get the WDT tool, tamper, and a puck screen wouldnt hurt.  51mm is the size of the portafilter on this unit.

Great starter machine.

The product seems to be OK. The problem is is the company there's no way to reach them to let them know that part is missing. I'm missing the drip tray and when you try to reach him via email you get that it's undeliverable. You try and call the phone number That is also unreachable so what am I supposed to do without a trip tray? I can't put the cup anywhere just falls over.!

We've had the machine for only two months, and it has already stopped working. It no longer brews espresso properly—water starts coming out from the group head instead of dripping through as it should.

We're very disappointed with the performance and would appreciate support in resolving this issue.

its shooting water everywhere. hasnt produced a single shot of espresso, just cloudy brown water full of coffee grounds. absolutely the worst coffee maker ive ever purchased
