My son loved the entire experience of this toy! He loves his guinea pig family. He takes care of them every morning and after school. I even took it to his class and they participated in taking care of the guinea pig and waited for one to be born.

Our youngest tot has been wanting Mama Surprise Guinea Pig for almost 2 year. Reading reviews and the cost I didn't purchase. Our girls have so many food sensitivities we were a bit broken. Over Easter I thought well we can't eat candy but we sure will play so I picked one up in store on sale. Make sure you have/get 6 AAA batteries. I read the directions and watched a video. There are 2 modes. Slow which delivers the 3 babies within 2 days and fast mode which is 10 minutes. You have to pet, feed and brush her to until her hewrt lights up. place hwr in her cage while it is on the mode you prefer. Her heart and the cage will have pulsating heart beats when synced correctly. Our girls prefer thr 10 minute mode. They have had her birth 5 times already. They come with a little present for each with accessories to wear. Hair elastics, barrettes, glasses, and mini birth certificates. You can reload the babies over and over again. You must Even the presents too. You must care for mama between each delivery to make her sing and heart light up. She does not deliver 3 all at once nor all in a row. We have had no issues with them getting stuck. Our girls didnt know how they loaded at first to make it more funny. I kept it a secret. I was really cautious purchasing for a long time. I have no regrets getting it this toy. Again I did purchase it on sale.

My animal loving kid loved this. It works just as it says. And you have the choice to have it do a speedy delivery or slow delivery of the babies. It also allows you the option to reset it and put the babies back in if you want. (See pic). The mama guinea pig makes noises but they aren't super annoying. I like that it came with paper bedding and that the cage was a carrying case that's easily moved about.

Really fun toy and experiemce

My 8yo daughter received this as a gift then wanted to give it to her best friend as a birthday gift. The experience of the momma having babies is pretty cute and the kids can “reload” and experience again. Toy is used frequently and still does not new batteries yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my 12 year old and 1 year old enjoyed playing with this set. They were both excited about seeing it when it came out of the box and then once I added the needed batteries and it was up for play, they both got excited to see what all it does. My son had fun trying to figure out how the babies magically appeared and my little girl loved petting the mama and her babies. It has a slow and fast mode to control how soon the babies come. This can be redone many times over with the mama having the babies. The only thing lacking was proper instructions on how to operate it. The ones provided weren't super helpful…..but luckily I watched a video of a one and was able to figure it out. Definitely a fun toy for everyone including parents.
