I love that it is pre-conditioned and pH-balanced so I don't have to wait or worry about measuring chemicals. My betta became noticeably more active and energetic right after the water change

Great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] API Algaefix helps control algae growth.  When used as directed, every 3 days until algae is controlled, then once weekly, I could see a difference.  The container lid doubles to measure the amount.  Store in a cool, dry place.

Helps Conrtol Algae

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I really like about the API Algaefix is it's ability to change and clear up the algae from my tank. I'm shocked yet very pleased of how my tank looks. I'm glad this product is affordable so I most definitely will be purchasing more and I will be recommending this product to all my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The container is cool! Seems to work ok, I cant say it works perfect but it helped! I will try it again next time I can and see if it helps again too and see if it improves yet again but it helped this time!

Seems to help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I start to use it, I'm supposed to use it every 3 days. After the first try, I was able to see the solution removing parts of the algae blotches. You can see that some of the stains were removed. Yes it's a very messy and not sustainable fish tank. I tried it two more times, and more stains removed. I'm assuming that this is getting controlled.

Slowly but surely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not super impressed. This seemed to not affect my fish at all, but did affect my plants and not all survived. The water is clearer, it appears cleaner, but that's only because of so many of the plants are gone. You have to dose it a lot, so if you're not good at doing something every few days/remembering i wouldn't reccomend trying. It didn't work much for my black beard though. I had high hopes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am content with API Algaefix, the instructions where clear and straightforward. I used 1ml per every 10 gallon, and i used it as frequent as every 3 days.  No mixing required i just spread it throughout. As far as safety for your fish, it may cause harm if you use to much. Please also assure any lighting from your fish tank is also turned off. Very good product! But please read instructions before using.

Very affective, fast results.

The bottle had a safety seal which was nice but due to the size of the tank I’m not sure if more would have been helpful?

Didn’t work for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not use this product more than once. It did seem to help with the algae but it seemed harmful to my snail. It could be unrelated but my snail started laying upside down at the bottom of the tank in the same spot for days. I thought it was dead. But then it would be in a different spot. I finally saw it move one day so it is alive but it is no longer as active as it used to be. It could have just been a coincidence but I am not taking any more chances. There was no smell and it was easy to use and seemed like it was doing what it was supposed to but I'm not sure if it is snail safe.
