Great mouse. I am annoyed with the change in the button placement for mac gestures given my muscle memory from the Master 3, but it's not bad after getting used to it. I do find myself accidentally pushing the button my thumb rests on a lot. If you're used to the older variants, it will take some learning to change the muscle memory.

Solid Mouse with a learning curve

More than just a mouse, this device can also replace a hardware KVM with the use of a Logi Bolt receiver.  I was contemplating buying a different mouse, but when I found out that I could use this and a MX Mechanical keyboard on the same Logi Bolt Receiver, my need for a KVM disappeared.  I truly enjoy the ease in which this mouse connects to the Bolt Receiver, and how easy it is to go between computers.  This capability really needs to be highlighted more IMHO.  I also like how we can set up the Easy-Switch with the press of a button on the underside of the mouse, or use a keyboard shortcut to transition between different computers.  
For my use-case, I have a streaming computer and a gaming computer, and this functionality saved my sanity and removed the need for an additional keyboard and mouse setup.
I have been using this mouse for more than a month on a single charge, and the battery indicator states the mouse is at 85% now.

More than a mouse!

I have used various Logitech products, and I am happy to say this one didn't disappoint. Setting up on my Mac was easy using a Type-C receiver. Since I like to protect my devices, I purchased a hard mouse case, and have been enjoying using it. Thanks to the Logi Options+ app, making things easier.

Another Great Logitech Product!

The Logitech MX Master 4 is outstanding. The ergonomic design is extremely comfortable for long work sessions, and the precision and responsiveness are top-notch. The scroll wheel is smooth and versatile, and the customizable buttons significantly improve productivity.

The Pale Gray finish looks clean and premium, and the battery life is excellent. Overall, this is a high-quality mouse that's well worth the investment, especially for office and professional use.

Great mouse, amazing.

The only reason I am not giving it 5 starts, is that the "height" of the mouse, as it sits in your palm, is lower than the MX 3 (which I love and used since it's release).  So, sometimes you inadvertently push the thumb button as your moving the mouse.  Wish they had kept the height EXACTLY the same as the MX3.

Love the Mouse and additional buttons, but... :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall pretty good. Battery life has been killer so far, the white hasn't stained in the last month, and I hope the new materials don't wear down or get sticky. My only three complaints:

1) low polling rate. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next gen with a new bluetooth revision
2) Haptics are a bit underused. Mostly I write code and use Google Chrome, and there aren't good haptic plugins for my programs.
3) Build quality nit: The left and right click buttons are slightly misaligned with each other vertically at the tip, resulting in a height difference I can see and feel.

The mag scrolling is great, the repositioned thumbwheel is nice, the new gesture button is good, and the action ring is cool once you customize it.

Pretty good, mostly what I expected.

I returned it.  It was way too easy to accidentally press the thumb pad.

The bulbous protrusion protecting the thumb wheel makes it harder to use.

The ergonomics have changed and my hand doesn't rest on it as naturally.  

These two drawbacks are deal breakers.  On the plus side, I do like the heavier weight.

Downgrade From Master 3s

Extra functionality, but has different stick-slip than MX3S. I end up pushing the cursor too far and having to backtrack because of the stickslip. When you turn over the MX4 and the MX3S, the portion of the live which touches the table is considerably different causing the MX4 to stick and not move as smoothly as my old MX3S

Love the extra functions; but it does not move as smooth as MX3S

Everything in the mouse is fantastic except the size. For me, the size is big. I can barely reach the scroll up. When I want to scroll up, I scroll from the bottom to the middle of the wheel. in addition i have to move my hand up to reach the action bottom and the three buttum in the side. My fingers can barely click the left and right clicks from the bottom end of the clicks. Everything is fantastic, material and function, except the size and the grabbing size, which are big. If the mouse is a bit smaller, I will be super satisfied with it. I really look forward to having that modified

Only the size of it

This is a great mouse with one flaw that made me return it. The ergonomics hurt my wrist. I had the MX master 3 before this and loved that mouse. Everything about this is a welcome upgrade, except the angle that it turns my wrist. The new design levels out the angle that your wrist holds the mouse so that it's more parallel with your work surface. It hurt so much I had to return it.
