Sound Quality

I liked everything about this headset. Sound quality is perfect. Durability is great.

Like the other review says, there is an issue with them cutting out. This can be easily fixed by doing a firmware update though. 

I purchased these used and the boom mic was missing form the box. I contacted Lucidsound  via email and their excellent customer support guy said that he would send me the boom mic and any other missing accessories free of charge. 


On to the quality. 

I have owned Astro A50s for xbox, and these are EASILY superior to those. Not needing wires to hook them up is a huge plus, the sound quality and volume is also noticeably better. I currently also have Turtle Beach Elite 800s, HyperX Cloud Revolver S, and Asus ROG Strix Fusion 500s. 

The ASUS are still my favorite pair, but LS35x is now firmly in the #2 spot.

AMAZING product and customer service

I purchased this product a couple weeks ago now, and am just loving it.   The quality of this headset is leaps and bounds above the other high end gaming headsets on the market (which are plastic plastic plastic).   I love that I can use this when travelling for work as well, and not look like a combat pilot.    They work and sound great! No issues!  Totally work the money!

Incredible Quality and Performance

Looking at headphones that were native compatible with Xbox Series X was daunting. $250 to $300... Give me a break. NEVER!

Until I found this product I had given up the search. Thought about a few in the $100 range, but nah. Bought these expecting trash... Yet received gold. Rose Gold that is... Bad joke, but oh well... I'm a dad.

I love just about everything about them, besides the slow charging with the old connector. I can live with it. I get a random disruption in sound every long while, but they are amazing. Sound is much better than I expected for the low price. I'm worried about the issue of headband breaking, or whatever... But I'm really careful with all my stuff anyways.

I'm not one to pay almost as much for a pair of headphones as the console itself, so this was the best deal in the world to me for my purposes.

I've paid 2x as much for other headphones, such as  Turtle Beach and a few others. They all are TRASH compared to the LS35X. I'm ashamed I spent the money I did on those other headphones for wireless gaming. 

For gaming, these headphones are like the Bugatti of gaming headphones. They are comfortable, they feel good on your hear and ears.... they sound spectacular and the mic is great, and the wireless charge lasts a very long time compared to other headphones.

I'm doing this review because I logged on to find me another pair just to buy to put up in the close just because. You want these. 

Lucid Sound is the truth and they're underrated. I'm a customer for life.

Un-Freaking Believable Sound

I had the LS35x since 2018 and the broke in late 2022. Loved those headphones easily 5 out of 5. I bought a new pair since I finally got my hands on a series X. Nothing but trouble. The first pair I bought would not click into position on the right ear cup. I messaged support and they sent a new pair out. The new pair constantly drops connection. Every 10 minutes it seems at the worst time while playing CoD they will disconnect for about 20-30 seconds. I often have to turn them off and back on. I reached out and they said you only get 1 replacement but they would make an exception. So if I have a faulty product then you replace them with an inadequate product it my fault somehow? Got another pair and it's the same issue. Idk if they need an update for series X but these are horrible now. What once was the greatest headset I've ever owned are now a purchase I regret. I gave up and bought a pair of steel series arctis nova 7x. I wish the LS35x could stay connected because the directional audio is amazing, I can pinpoint where on the map anyone is, but the connectivity issues ruin these.

They used to be my favorites

I purchased a pair of these a few years ago to game with a family member that has an Xbox. I haven't used them a lot due to working away, but the features are great, the sound quality is amazing, comfort is 2nd to none, but (and it's a really big but), the plastic coverings on the earcups where they swivel is really cheap, thin and not strong at all. They started cracking just outside the warranty period and i javent worn them since, until the day i went to use them and they just split and became unwearable. I'm extremely careful with my headsets and still have my og PS3 Pulse Elites that are in perfect condition - easy to break, used them heaps and no issues. Used these for probably less than 2 weeks in total and they just aren't worth it if they are going to break that easily. 
I'd love to give them 5 stars, but i honestly feel like they have a real manufacturing weak point, so until they fix that it's 2 stars from me.

Great sound, Really Poor durability.

It will consistently lose connection with my Xbox. Full battery and just shuts off. 

I can't play with my wife in the same room or fan on because of all the background noise it picks up, even with the mic pointed at me. If you are a heavy breather, it picks up your breathing.

Consistently messes up

Exceptional headphones on my Xbox One. It's a pain to connect it to anything else. though so I hope you like Xbox and only Xbox because everything else requires a USB wireless adapter sold separately to connect. 
They were nice enough to include a 3.5mm cable so I can wire up my wireless headphones to actually use them on anything that doesn't have a free USB port to hook up the Xbox wireless adapter to since these suckers don't have Bluetooth because, hey why not, it's not like anyone uses that right?

No Bluetooth, needs adapter for PC

I've had this headset for over two years now, and from day one I've had constant problems. The sound quality is good but the constant disconnection and "lag" is so bad. I thought the connection would improve if I upgraded to the series X but it was the same if not worse. The headset disconnects about 5-10 times in a 2 hour span.

Regret buying this
