At first, I bought one cream to give it a try and check its texture. After using it a few times, I realized this cream was exactly what I was looking for. It absorbs quickly, isn't greasy, and has no strong scent. I was so impressed that I ordered more hand creams to stock up.

A rich and soothing must have winter staple! Just before I turn off the lights for bed, I apply this balm all over my face as an overnight mask. It instantly feels so moisturized and so smooth!!! It adds that extra layer to help with my very dry skin!

Soothes my dry skin instantly!

i was nervous buying this as i read multiple reviews of the formula changing and it not being good anymore.

i had some really dry scaly red patches show up on my face recently due to a reaction to sunscreen and my regular face cream was not soothing them. I bought this in hopes of it moisturizing my skin enough that i could put my make up on again and not have it look crusty within an hour. to my pleasant surprise it did exactly that. the redness diminished within 2 days and the skin has smoothed out significantly. no more dry patches and my make up goes on effortlessly. The balm needs to be applied in small amounts and rubbed in using your fingertips. it takes about a minute of your skins heat to melt into your skin. it is slightly greasy at first, but absorbs nicely and doesnt affect how my make up adheres. i use it morning and night.

im glad i took the chance to try it out, this is the third La Roche-Posay product ive owned and i will continue exploring their facial product lines.

Overall, I would highly recommend the CICAPLAST BAUME B5 Soothing Relieving Balm to anyone looking for a high-quality skincare product that provides long-lasting hydration. This product has definitely become a staple in my skincare routine and I will continue to use it for years to come.

Healthy Overall Skin.

This helps immensely with my rosacea prone skin. 
My skin was so dry yet would break out with any just slightly richer cream. This doesn't cause any breakouts or clog pores, locks in my light moisturizer beautifully, and soothes my sensitive skin. I swear by this product and keep recommending it to everyone I know.

Got this two months ago and it does what it says. I'm on acne medication so my skin can be dry and irritated the morning after I use the medication. This hydrates and protects my skin when my skin is that irritated. 

That being said, the texture is pretty awful when you first apply it. It's a thick paste that spreads poorly so you have to slather it on your skin. Its easy to ignore the texture because it works, but I wish it could be more elegant

Hydrating and occlusive with a chalky texture

I loved this cream I used it day and night over my serums. Now something has changed, my face is itching all day long and my chest has an itchy red rash. I didn't change anything else. I now after reading all the other reviews I realize that it must be the new formula. What a shame, I'm going to stop using it and see what happens.

New Formula Fail!

Bring back the original. The new formula is irritating and drying. Completely opposite effect of the original formula. The original saved my skin and and the new formula is destroying it. This new one is not even comparable to the original, its a completely different cream. Feels disgusting on your face, dry and tacky. Bring back the original. Nobody wants this one.

NEW FORMULA TERRIBLE

I have been using this product for several years and I love it. I recently bought the new formula and I am very disappointed. I realized that dermatitis appears on my face (I want to mention that I have very sensitive skin), I stop using the cream and it starts to disappear, but as soon as I start using the cream it appears again. I realized it was from the cream because I was sure it wouldn't harm me and I reduced all other products to zero.
