I received a sample and was able to try for a few days. I am very impressed with this cream! I have dry acne prone skin and Im breaking out at the moment with alot of texture. This is clearing my skin right up! The cream is gentle enough for everyday use. I really enjoy it and would recommend to anyone whos got acne or breaks out regularly.

I use this as my night moisturiser and have definitely noticed a difference with skin texture and less fine lines. Also helps with my pigmentation. Spots are noticeably less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this and this absorbed in very quickly. It's very lightweight and didn't feel greasy to the touch. This did calm my skin down a lot. This had a very light fragranced. Definitely recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using a sample I got for a few days and I noticed a decrease in how inflamed my acne looks, its less red. It calmed down alot and soothes my skin and moisturises at the same time. Would definitely recommend!

A good choice for acne prone skin

As I'm a sufferer with adult acne this cream is somthing that I would look at buying, even though it's a small tube to test I didn't see any results, this is only because of how little there was, I'm not negatively saying it hasn't worked but not enough product

I am a big fan of La Roche-Posay; have been using it over a decade.
This product I received as a sample and would need more than a week to fully review and discuss effects. However, what I can say now is: brilliant texture, only a whif of a scent and quick absorbing. However, I did get a breakout which never happens with Effaclar Duo. Hope this helps future buyers.

Debatable

I got this to use in conjunction with a tretanoin cream I use at night. I'd seen this gel was an azailic acid and recommended to use in the morning following a tretanoin routine at night.  I have tried to use it under my make up but it makes a complete mess and make up just rolls off your face and looks uneven. Maybe it's better for a night routine but not for a girl who likes to wear make up.

Disappointed

Dries up uncomfortably and peels/rolls off the skin. Was advertized as good under makeup and it is horrible under makeup. I feel let down, especially because of the price.

Bought this as a day cream as my skin is prone to acne, I usually wear cc cream on top of the day cream but this one is impossible to combine with.. the cc cream starts to look like lumps when used with this cream.. i suppose you can only wear this during night time when not combined with other products.. very disappointing

Not compatible with other products

I wanted to love this so much and it looked like a great solution to the skin concern I wanted to target but it's so disappointing. It pills like crazy both by itself and with other products. You can't add foundation over so I tried it just at night but it still rolls off my face.
