I just finished my first bottle and have already bought a second. It works wonders on my oily skin, it's not drying, it's not greasy, and it soaks in within seconds. I had previously tried the TOLERIANE DOUBLE REPAIR MATTE FACE MOISTURIZER FOR OILY SKIN, but tried this one to compare and I find it to be more mattifying for me. I will continue to purchase, I just wish it came in a bigger size.

I've been using La Roche-Posay Effaclar MAT for a few weeks now, and honestly, it's been a solid addition to my routine. I have combination skin that gets oily throughout the day, especially in the T-zone, so I was looking for something that could keep the shine under control without feeling heavy or clogging my pores.

The texture is super light — kind of a gel-cream that absorbs really quickly. No stickiness, no greasy layer, just a soft, almost velvety finish. I love that I can apply it and move straight on to makeup without waiting around. It doesn't make me matte all day (let's be real), but it definitely helps reduce that midday shine and keeps my skin looking a bit more balanced.

Packaging is basic but clean — just a white tube with a small nozzle, which I actually prefer. Easy to throw in a bag, and I don't have to worry about pumps breaking or anything leaking.

The scent is very subtle. Slightly fresh, maybe a tiny bit clinical, but it fades fast. I don't love scented products, so I appreciated how minimal this one is.

As for the results, I wouldn't say it's a miracle worker, but it does what it promises: keeps things matte (within reason), hydrates just enough, and makes pores look a little smoother. I'd definitely recommend it if you have oily or combo skin and want something lightweight for daily use. Probably not moisturizing enough if you're dry, though.

First off, this smells AMAZING! This is the first thing I put on in the morning and last thing I put on at night!! It is a life saver and has worked wonders for my face! I used to have a super oily skin and couldn't keep makeup on at all!! Now it stays all day and lasts forever! I love this and you will too!

I have combination skin and every moisturiser I bought left me shiny within an hour, making my foundation slide off my face. I've spent a fortune on foundations, creams, primers and blotting powders. I would have to take blotting powder everywhere with me and continually re-apply to my t-zone. I know this says it is for oily skin, but I have been using it for 2 weeks morning and night and my skin feels soft and smooth and it hasn't dried out my cheeks. It makes a difference with shine, I have ditched the blotting powders now and my make-up lasts a lot longer. I wouldn't say it stops shining completely but it has made a huge difference. I am so impressed I am now buying a lot of the other products in the range including the foundation and hoping that I am equally as impressed. It is a good base for your make-up and you only need a small amount.

I picked up a free sample of this at the dermatologist office. I have older skin well past acne stage. It makes my skin feel and look so much better. I used it  morning and night, but started using just at night because I felt it might dry out my skin. Using just at night is perfect for me. Exfoliates well and makes my skin feel so smooth. I only need to use a small amount. Light neutral fragrance. I love this product. I'm so glad I could get it through my Walmart App.

This does exactly what it says it does. Hydrates without feeling tacky and being too shiny. I will purchase again. You do have to troubleshoot to use the correct amount. I just wish it was a bigger bottle for the price.

I don't feel or see a big enough of a  difference to justify the cost. And I can't really blame them for the price  because I paid $40 for an ounce, but never again.

I wanted to love this but as someone with sensitive skin, it caused my skin to burn and become really dry. I did like the light scent and how it lathered but it just wasn't for me personally.
