Didn't come with the original LaCie wire, but the substitution works great. Was an open box deal on both..still brand new and in great condition. Purchased the warranty just in case but great deal for what I got!

I was surprised by the immediate connection with Mac, iPad and iPhone! It works very well!

Seems to be a good, low-cost storge unit.  For some reason, the decided to make the connection to the unit a non-standard USB plyg, so don't lose the cable!

Good Low cost Storage

These are great for portable storage but I use 3 for backing up my machine. Speed is not really fast but it does not matter since it's auto back up while I am asleep. I even designed a 3D printed part to allow these to neatly stack together yet leaves air space for cooling.

Just does the job

I used Windows Explorer to copy files instead of the program on it and it worked fine. It needs a USB-C connection rather than the USB-A I was expecting, probaby to supply power to run the drive. There was no photo of the included cable so I've added one below. My files are safely on my new computer and I'm keeping this drive handy for backups.

Very easy to use

installed, added a folder title.  it would not load again. Went to best buy in case it was a me problem.  their systems could not find it either. They did say it was a good product generally speaking. Mine was just defective. Returned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For all the hype, it didn't work at all for my needs; completely incapable of working in a multi-OS environment (has absolutely 0 support for Linux in any form and is absolutely not plug-and-play), only supports Windows and MacOS (sorta).

There are much better options out there including but not limited to getting my own rugged enclosure and using my own existing harddrive; cheaper and capable of working on all OS, too.

Hype = Disappointment
