I hoped it was a more sturdy pillow setup. The folded cardboard is disappointing for the base.

Granted it has all the basics, but unless you are just a beginner that is not sure if you will continue with this craft - I wouldn't recommend this product. The board is pretty flimsy and I ended up adding two layers of wool felt and a custom cover to encase it all, with a cardboard backing. It does the trick, but don't have high hopes for a long life. It suited the need though, and will work until I get another. The bobbins are decent, but again, they should probably have been drilled for the later addition of spangles. Little buggers love to roll around.

Just remember you get what you pay for. This is a cheap beginner set and you will need to purchase more to make it all come together. Best of luck.
