THE best cream cheese ever! Simple, clean %26 fresh. Best on the market and costs less than other brands! Canadian too. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Best cream cheese!

Very tasty. Light and tender, spreads well. Much better than Philadelphia, and healthy too!

Great product

already answered

This is cream cheese "product." Not cream cheese, as you might be expecting. It reminds me nearly exactly of homemade yogurt "cheese;" plain yogurt strained of whey. If you buy it knowing that it is a different product, you'll likely really enjoy it. It has a very fresh and light taste to it. A little like great, fresh, goat cheese without the goat.

More yogurt cheese, than cream cheese.

I used to buy lactantia cream cheese and it was my favourite. I appreciate that this cream cheese has simple ingredients but it didn't taste like cream cheese to me, or anything. It was also VERY wet, slipping off the knife when I tried to spread it on bread or toast. I unfortunately wouldn't buy this again

Not your typical “cream cheese”, you have to be looking for a cream cheese that is much closer to a strained whey product than a refined cream cheese from Philadelphia. I wouldn't consider this a smooth texture.

Very Natural Texture

Terrible. Not spreadable, it was like yogurt.

Horrible cream cheese

Don't send me this crap ever again. Unfortunately once you buy an item on Walmart they show up forever even when you hate it and I hate this. I immediatley threw it in the trash when I saw what had arrived.

Hate it

It was so good and tasted natural, like European cream cheese. But seems like they recently changed the recipe around August/September 2026 to be more like North American garbage cream cheese. Too bad.

Recipe Changed

Lactantia Original Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese, Simple Ingredients 227 g tub made in Canada; plain cream cheese spread with smooth, spreadable texture, slightly sweet and tangy taste, made with simple natural ingredients and 100% Canadian milk, labeled Lactantia, suitable for spreading on bagels, toast and crackers and often used as a base for no‑bake cheesecakes or savory dips.
